Kerbal Space Program

There's been rumours around of DB corruption which can't be good if they're true. I'd like to also imagine that they're not just running a single server for everything too.

v0.14.4

http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=9731.0

New:
* Added Shader Model 2 fallback shaders for the terrain. Doesn't look as pretty, but solves the black terrain issue on SM2 video cards.
* Exposed terrain parameters on the Video Settings screen (Now called Graphics Settings).
* Option to force using SM2 shaders even on SM3 compatible hardware.

Bug Fixes:
* Sometimes vessels could still be seen as being under acceleration and not get saved. This is fixed now.
* Tweaked the terrain system to use less memory.
* Updated Kerbin's diffuse map, to remove the blue on the ice caps on map view and tracking station.
* Launching the updater with the game in fullscreen mode will no longer cause the updater to crash.
* The game will no longer launch the patcher if the latest update is available only as a full download. It will open the KSP Store instead.
* Fixed an issue with part startup which caused engines to deactivate when resumed sometimes, and possibly other issues as well.

finally landed on the moon!!!!!! Taken me over a month of on/off trying but did it second time with my new ship and even had enough fuel to get home! So happy! :D

Well 14.4 patch is out

Got hold of the demo, been playing around with it on and off since Sunday. So addictive and fun. Can see me paying up for the full version for all the added toys.

Got myself a mean ship now. Aim was to make it as over the top and loud as possible (Jeremy Clarkson designed it) with the intention of getting a module into space with enough fuel to have plenty of time to get to the moon and land again. Struggling on the whole aiming for the moon part at the moment - missed it by a few thousand km earlier though!

ps.... it's very very slow to launch :D

Providing its possible.... I can upload the ship save file so other people can have a go if they want a laugh!
Framerate is so poor when taking off. :D

Been reading through all the posts in here and other places on the game and think I'll give in and buy the full version. Already probably had $15 worth of entertainment from it in a few days. All the added features already available plus what is coming soon will make it worth a buy I think!

It is 100% worth the 15 bucks IMO, just for the minor bug fixes and stuff they keep adding. They currently put out probably 3-4 new features per every 6 week patch.

Question for those with the bought version which is more up to date then...

I find on the demo version it occasionally has a habit of moving the trigger order around on things by itself, also it seems quite intermittent at deciding which stage to add things in when you place them on the ship. Anyone found these things are less problematic on the new version?

Gave in and bought it last night :D
Managed 2 moon landings with varying success. First time it was a rough landing where the ship exploded but the pod survived, second time I landed cleanly with enough fuel to get back to Kearth. I just messed up the trajectory and got stuck in an orbit around a 1/3 of the way between Kearth and the Mun. Doh!
Had landed at what I had figured was about the ideal place to fly back from - but evidently not quite as easy as I had thought.

Turn the ship around and use engines. There's two green cross hairs. One is direction your going, the opposite is the other. So spin around and point at the opposite cross hair and fire up.
