Just bought it for the $15, i have been stuck on .13 for ages and quite frankly ive been looking for an excuse to buy it :D
Well KSP. 16 will be out within weeks.
With more parts (More Power) an EVA's been the big addition this update.

anyone know how to stop it running at 1FPS (or less) when you've HUGE ROCKETS?
changing graphics/aa to low/none etc doesn't make ANY difference?
Make a smaller more efficent craft, or overclock your CPU.
Its still in Alpha stage, so poorly optimized, unity3.5 is MultiThreaded not MultiCore yet.
Even I struggle with 500+ Parts with 5GHz i5 2500K.

Any one else having much luck with VTOL Craft?

Im getting better at designing jets now.

Basic jet engine works up to 7K ish using normal inlets

Turbo Jet engine works from 7-13K using the squarish inlets, for this design I swapped the normal air inlets for built in ones.

Im guessing the scramjet works at 13K+ altitudes however i need to go back and design a new style of jet for this

As far as I know, those inlet/nose-cones are just cosmedic.
There extra weight so I leave them out.
In future updates, when aerodynamics are better modeled, its hoped that airflow will be taken into consideration, with different engines have optimal operating range, which relies heavily on airflow.
So scramjets would operate best at 30+K...

anyone got advise on how to correct a stupid obit (ie high one side, low the other)
nothing I try seems to fix it!

depends what you want to do.

Lowest point of orbit = perigee
Highest point of orbit = apogee

If you want to raise the perigee of the orbit to the same as the apogee you need to, burn in a prograde at apogee. this will raise the perigee.

If you want to lower the apogee, you have to burn at retrograde (backwards) at perigee, this will lower the apogee.
