You only need about 100km for orbit. Still, you're getting there. I notice you have an ASAS attached directly to your command pod, i would put it under the decoupler so it doesn't cause problems when you land. Plus if there were re-entry physics in the game it would screw you over no end
You couldn't try to keep screenshots 1024 wide or below, could you? Imgur has an option for a 'large' thumbnail, then you can post it so it links to a hi-res version. Helps out those of us with screen size inadequacy issues![]()
Time for an upgrade then Permabanned.
Tibbz2, those designs are looking much better, an will allow you to reach new heights (Pun intended.)
Once your traveling at 500-1000m/s (40KM+) start listing your craft over too eventually 90Degrees. (Right is more efficent, due to orbital spin.)
You will require your craft to be just over 70KM, circular orbit, to be perfectly stable for no decay..
Hint: in KSP.16! There is a bug.That if you throttle back, your fuel consumption becomes significantly less, an your craft accelerats significantly more efficently!
So once traveling at 100M/s, throttle back, an continue adjusting your throttle to allow 1-2M/Secound Acceleration.
You understand?
This Bug will be fixed in version 17.![]()
Does anyone know how to stop the SAS sticking in the "on" position during a flight sometimes? Once I'm in orbit & start looking to orientate the craft ready for a burn it's stuck on..
R = RCS (Reaction Control System)
T = SAS or ASAS (Toggle Permanently On/Off)
F = SAS or ASAS (Hold On/Off)
So try F first then T.

Is it something I can just jump into with a tutorial or is it something I need to look into first?
Any good video's about getting started etc?
Huge thread so admittedly I haven't looked through it thoroughly....
