Kevin Space Invader

He's already been cancelled, no coming back from that these days. I hope he reminds those who stabbed him in the back to kindly **** off.

Just a shame that we're so quick to cancel when it's just allegations and nothing even proven or no convictions given, but no apologies or opportunities given to those who have been wronged and had their lives and career ruined through the lies of others

Yep, agreed. This is why in several threads on here about other people, some of us try to adopt a stance of innocent until proven guilty. Then we get told we are supporting an abuser.

It's natural when there's so little justice done for this particular crime for the mob to conclude regardless, also very natural when institutions rot away at the behest of the elite and their conveniently elected friends that even if a judgement is made it cannot be trusted.

There are consequences for this that will claim innocent people, sadly.

Are Depp & Heard back behind the camera ?
Spacy's testament, similar to Depp's was compelling, determining truth as a juror has got to be a challenge, not being starstruck -
did they find jurors who had/hadn't seen his work

There is also the story in the news today of Andrew Malkinson - a man who was convicted (unsafely) of rape and spent 17 years in jail as a result. A big part of that time spent in jail was down to him maintaining his innocence and the parole board refusing to release him as a result - an abominable practice that this case demonstrates has to end. His conviction has been vacated by the appeal court today as DNA evidence now points to someone else have committed the crime.

The actual details of that case is quite astonishing when you look at them, when you hear just how weak the case against him was its incredible that he was ever convicted

I hope he gets to sue who ever for all they are worth for stealing 17 years of his life.

Quite a powerful speech by Malkinson just now "17 years ago I was kidnapped by the state and its taken me 2 decades to convince my kidnappers to set me free". "Greater Manchester Police are liars". He's going to go after them with all guns blazing, he's understandably furious with a capital F.

I'm fairly sure that's not true of the rhetoric coming from capital punishment fantasists.

Well let me set out my stall on this for clarity. I believe the death penalty is warranted in a very small number of cases. I want the bar to be set so damned high that it's really difficult to get this sentence. The test should be that there is zero doubt of the guilt of the perpetrator and the crime should be so abominable as to deserve the rope. The is only one case I can think of that would meet that criteria and that is the murder of Lee Rigby. There is zero doubt that his killers did it. They should swing imho.

Problem is you then get some POS like Braverman come along who decides it should be used against woke or something daft.
Its one of them things that will always manage to get a wrong conviction eventually and leaves no coming back.

"At least" with a wrongful conviction and time behind we can monetarily make good to some extent. As in make it so they don't need to work etc and able to spend their remaining time doing what they should have been able to do across many years.
