***kickstarter***

But one thing that I have learnt, is that someone else is going to copy someone else's good idea bring it to market quicker and cheaper, so will just wait in the future, instead of a Kickstarter gamble

there are a few projects that i've not backed for this very reason - good ideas but not good enough to warrant buying pre-production. The delays are getting silly, but its people with no experience building and sourcing stuff at scale.

i've also had some very poorly built stuff stuff that cost like 10p to make selling them for £5 each, etc.

another which was £100 but plastic was chipped, there was no packaging to speak of they skimped on everything they could and it showed. can now buy the same thing in ikea but much better made for half the price.

i backed the street fighter board game simply because it was limited edition and it was being made by a famous youtuber and it gained liked like 4 million in funding or something crazy like that.

i have a mist shower head being shipped after like 2-3 years. i hope the quality lives up to the price but i think kickstarter is now just full of scams. selling cheap crap they couldn't sell elsewhere or people who literally have no business acumen but a good idea trying to implement it with horrible results.

it's best to uninstall the app.
