***kickstarter***

I was looking at his iPhone case.
I was hoping he'd have a gallery of his products for sale, but I can't seem to see it.

I mean these are really impressive products, he could have a little niche for himself if they were openly sold.

I don't really see the point in crowd-sourcing sites like kickstarter.

Why on earth would you want to fund a person or company to do something, an get no return whatsoever?

I could understand it if you there was a game that you really wanted made and purchased a copy in advance, but that's not the case. you fund something, then if you want it when it's finally made (if ever), you still have to buy it.

Huh?

Huh? I think you've got the wrong end of the stick?

Totally wrong, you do pre-order.
You do get something in return, I get a product at below retail price.
It's the complete opposite to what you say. Not only do I get something, they don't have to go conventional funding. Which means two things, no or less debt which means they don't pay interest, secondly you get more and different ideas. Traditional funding methods typically only go with proven concepts that are guaranteed returns, which means fantastic ideas are often overlooked as the market is unproven.

Look at the different levels of backing.

Sure, most of them let you back by £1 and you'll just get a thanks. But they all let you pre-order the product at a reduced price, as a thanks for backing them.

Agh ok I wasn't aware that if was pre-order type deal. All I saw is people pledging money on Crowdfunder.

If you get to pre-order say a new frontier elite and your pre-order helps make the game then that all makes perfect sense.

Awesome my first item has arrived from kickstarter, it looks great, time will tell how good it is, reading through the comments, I've got some old useless cards in there for a few days, till the O-rings slacken up a bit.
I'm impressed that a single guy and crowd finding project pays attention to the boxing.
It's the aluminium one and I chose no engraving or anything else, totally plain.

The thing you really need to remember with Kickstarter is that you are NOT pre-ordering the product. You are backing the project and should/may receive a reward if the project is successful. You are by no means guaranteed a product at the end of it all.

Been using it all day and I'm loving it. It's so small and simple. No 600 pockets/ sections, cards won't fall out, it's great.

I don't get it, why not just use 2 elastic bands?

I mean how do you get the card you want out without the others? like the middle one.

Push out with the slot and press plates together. The slot is not for pinching or pulling. You hold it so slot faces the palm that the wallets held in, with other hand hook finger into slot and push the cards out a bit.

Rubber bands wouldn't last two seconds before braking.

This project hit it's $100,000 target in less than 12 hours:
