Killing Floor 2

- Getting 60FPS, VSYNC disabled so I guess the game is capped.
- There is no SLI profile and I get lots of stutter
- Maxed on Ultra VRAM usage is around 1400MB 1080p
- No 21:9 native support
- No MSAA options only FXAA in the aliasing options

Picked this up earlier. Plays well, except for a random stuttering issue I've noticed that causes the audio (including music) to stutter along with the FPS drop.

Got to the boss with one group... man, he's tough. Much more of a nightmare than the Patriarch ever was.

same issue

Whole game feels less stable than the beta did.

Oh well, it is early access after all! I'm sure Tripwire will get all the issues sorted out :)

Really looking forward to this I was quite late to killing floor but it's good mindless fun !!!! I looked earlier in the week and couldn't see anything on steam can anyone pre purchase this and play now? I know it's only early access but still would be fun :)

Re: SLI

- Open up NV control panel
- Program Settings tab; Add Killing Floor 2
- Under Specify prgram settings select: Power management mode: Prefer MAX Performance; SLI Rendering mode: Force alternate frame rendering 2.
- Vertical Sync: ON.
-Then hit APPLY and play the game.

Re: 60hz issue, Vsync and flickering:

The game's Vsync (ON or OFF) doesn't work for me. I have a 120hz monitor so I enabled the variable frame rate option in game (again there should be a slider for this, but I guess that's what you can expect from an EA game).

I used vsync adaptive or on from within the nvidia control panel and the flickering disappeared.

Anyone else don't like the double tap W to sprint?

Cheers for this mate, was wondering if this game could use my other 980.

It's good to be back.... in buckets of Zed Blood! :D

[SAF]Matt_FSR if anyone wants to add me on Steam. Please don't be level 0 on Steam, if you are, you get insta-blocked. :)

(too many scammers on Steam now)

Got this last night after selling one of my skins in csgo.
Runs awesome on my pc, all the pretty stuff turned on and still getting over 60fps with my gtx 970 and i5 2500k @4.5ghz.
Never played the 1st one, not sure why as it's definitely my cup of tea, love hoarde type games.
Feel free to add me from my link in my sig, only havevmy brother to play this with at the moment.

Really enjoying this. Played a few rounds on normal and it seems reletively easy. Hell on earth difficulty is insane. Cant wait to see what features and weapons will be added in the future.

One thing that did impress me was the fact that although it had a tricky first 12 hours or so, Tripwire were quick to activate a shed load of servers so at least i can play it now.

I am a fan of Tripwire, I have purchased KF2, one word of caution though, their last major release, RO2 was bug ridden for a LONG time, for some people (Not their fault specifically, they just could not nail some of the bugs in a timely manner) by the time they got a grip on it, the game had died which was a shame as it deserved soo much more.

Not saying the same will happen here, I am just advising that it is early access and some people (especially on Steam) seem confused as to what that means.

Personally, for an early access title with minimal content, I think setting EA price as your retail price is odd but maybe that is just me.

Yeah I've been stung too many times by early access titles to fall for this again without a discount, but enough people seem to buy it anyway to make their decision justified.
