** Kingdom Come : Deliverance 2 **

Buy items you can use to help balance the trade. Some save schnapps, armour and weapon repair kits, or the healing potions etc.

After a few hours I only pick the absolute highest value items. Then fix them myself before selling or trading. Kinda learnt that from KCDI where you would tour the traders trying to offload everything.

I have the Brunswick armour which seems a bit OP now as I enter the small hamlets all dressed up!

Stupid Mutt kept falling off the log bridges during that traipse!

Where do you sell your stuff ? Most merchants I’ve been to only have a few hundred G on hand.

I'm not out of the intro region yet so do have to use the limited traders and trainers. I have a few 1000 worth items that I'm hoarding for the next chapter. I also have a decent supply of arrows, bolts and potions from trades.

I also found that being over encumbered can be a good thing. I leveled up quite a lot of stats hauling gear around (slowly) to go to sell it or store it.
Yes, currently running around naked collecting flowers. Although my KCD1 alchemy run was clothed

Looking forward to seeing where my journey takes me!

Got to say I think this may be may favourite game of the past 20 years or so. It's got bugs but so few and most are amusing, not game breaking. I'm just loving the setting, story, exploring and combat. I haven't been this into a game since Skyrim came out and this to me is far superior an experience.

An absolute joy to play and I really didn't gel with KCD1 despite trying, effortlessly enjoying this one though.

I intially bounced off the first one but am enjoying my 2nd (3rd?) attempt, so reading this definitely gets me looking forward to picking up the 2nd at some point!

Anyone else feel like there is a lack of "stuff" generally in the map. I'm thinking in skyrim you'd find all sorts of cool items around in caves and forests etc. I've only just got to Kuttenburg so maybe I'm yet to see it

Not really, this isnt meant to be like Skyrim and other looters where every cave/dungeon or whatever has a chest lying around to open for items.
Most stuff of value is with the owner, in there chest where they are close to it, just like it would be in real. There is some stuff though you can find, dig up etc, but it's meant to be difficult to find.

I have just started over the weekend KCD1, I'm struggling a bit with it holding my interest and maybe haven't got very far. It should be something I should really enjoy as I love RPGs. What makes KCD2 different and why didn't you gel with the first one?

Played a couple of more hours last night and was enjoying it a lot more, so it does improve as you progress.

However I feel that your character is too close to the ground (doesn't seem natural).

Having a lot of problems killing wolves as my sword just doesn't hit them it's as if they are too low down.

Also although the lasdscape graphics are excellent, the skies look terrible and some of the character models look like they are 20 years old from Oblivion

Block when the green shield pops up then immediately riposte while moving toward the wolf / pointing in its direction. I used to struggle. It may also benefit you to keep an eye out for a longer sword.

Edit. And yes you must tilt down to “aim” at the wolf as they are quite small

What took first game a year, second game managed in less than 2 weeks. Awesome to see.

Ok so I've saved your friend, buried your brother, helped your clan out... Collapsed in your tent and you want me dead?

What...
You get your own bed in the tent where Tibor sleeps, it is the Gejza's bed.
It says "sleep and save".
Beds that say only "sleep" are owned by other people, who get annoyed to find you in them.

I'd recommend you going back to it after you finish KCD2. You will know what to expect and the story/quests/immersion is also excellent there. Plus you get to see friendship with Hans evolving, and go binge drinking with Goodwin.

Was walking around the bottom part of the castle and one of those events happened...

Found lots of dead guards, went further into the woods and one of the guards was being attacked by someone wearing armour. I killed the guy and the helmet he had on was worth 1200 coins! So yeh pretty bad ass

Been on the fence about buying this as it looks fun, however, i don't have hours to game in one sitting, can anyone tell me.... if you wanted to jump on and play 30 minutes and jump out again, is that doable? Or does it require a bit more time investment to progress?

In classic fashion I've got this week off work, so I'm more tempted than ever, but i don't want to regret it by not having time to play it after this week.
