I eat the whole thing apart from the stalk. Always have done. I didn’t know peeling kiwi fruit was a thing till just a few years ago

This is the way to go. Chop the top off eat with spoon.

There’s nothing there to feel/ taste despite the obvious fuzziness. At worst it may taste slightly bitter

I didn't even know the skin was edible, have always cut them in half and scooped the insides out with a spoon.

Skin is sharper than the inner fruit but allegedly good for you. Like another poster it hurts my tongue so no more!

Cut it in half, spoon in at the edge, twist it around to scoop it out.
