Yeah it is an impossible job to fill.
Nope. He did OK at Rangers, but it took an experienced manager like Emre to turn Villa around and that job was too big for Gerrard. Great player, but not sure he'll make it as a top level manager tbh, but he's not ready now.
As much as I hated him bringing Liverpool back to the top, it's sad so see him leaving the League. It seems like yesterday that he joined , how time flies. Respect to the man, wish him all the best for the future.....hope it's not due to health reasons.

You could see something wasn’t right when he was unhappy with supporters sing his song. He ensure this season ends on a high, ensure the place is left in a good state for the next manager.
Love him to bits, he understood the club and the city and most importantly he connected to the fans, he is one of us.
For me, what he has achieved is unreal, for me 3d best manager after shanks and bob. Kenny was an unreal manager and player, but the team was already at the top when he took the job. Klopp had a hell of a lot of work to do.

He was/is many ways the perfect manager for us as a club and the city but we can’t also expect him to go on forever
I don’t see him back managing any one else anytime soon. His interview felt so honest and everything makes sense re his energy etc
Him and the Germany job I’m sure it would be a fab honour for him but with how he is I just see him preferring club level jobs. I’d imagine national team jobs your more detached from it as there games ain’t weekly, you don’t develop the players as much one on one compared to club level etc

Imagine he will take some time off and then perhaps in a few years do the German national team for a while.

He's fairly young still, mid 50's is nothing, granted Its an intense job, but i just cant see him not working again.
He left Villa in a state and that team surprisingly did well once he left. Probably knew and took more money and extended deal.

I'm quite sad he'll be going. I've liked him as Liverpool Manager from day one & I'm not even a Liverpool Supporter, (My best mate at school was obsessed about them, I think he'll be crying right now) I heard a Liverpool Supporter say on the radio many years ago that Klopp was another 'Shanks' he was spot on. I hope for his sake that he will take a break from Football for his own health. I also hope he comes back to football at some point as the Game needs him.
The Premier League is going to be a poorer place without him. He’s done incredibly well, especially without any oil money behind him.
I guess the real winners here are PGMOL, who’ll be relieved to only have Arteta writing them weird letters now.
