Knife Attack in Germany

One might consider it sensible to do so.

Apart from that, I just looked on twitter only to see a white guy pushing his child in a pram down the road (apparently in Birmingham) with his family, only to get stabbed in the neck by an "alledged" migrant whilst the assailant and his friends laugh about it.
I'd be amazed due to the blood loss if he survived (he collapsed on the floor), although an ambulance attended.
This **** is getting out of control and is happening daily (although a lot isn't reported), and needs to stop.
Obviously I can't post the video (it's not hard to find), but some need to actually see what's going on out there rather than being fed the watered down drivel that the media push out and see what directon this country is going in.
Lets see if and how they report it.

What does this have to do with the thread?

In seee that the German police are as keen on using weird descriptors as their UK and US counterparts...

Solingen - dead and injured at the town festival! On Friday at around 9.40 p.m. a man in Solingen randomly stabbed several partygoers with a knife. The perpetrator, according to witnesses an Arab-looking man, is on the run. The police have not officially confirmed the witness statement at first, but are now talking about a southern-looking perpetrator.

'Southern-looking'???

'Southern-looking'???

Is that an official translation or a machine translation...

A lot of translation doesn't necessarily work without a human who not only knows the basics of the language, but the slang, secondary and specialist uses of the language.
Given the page appears to be in German I'm guessing it might be a failure of whatever machine translation is in use.

is that a bad translation of Ausländer

I bet the german word used is sudlander ? it can mean someone from the south, or someone from the Mediterranean, depending on context etc

"südländisch aussehenden"

The translation "southern looking" doesn't appear off but it does appear to have been used as a Germanic euphemism for people from Turkey, the middle east, north Africa etc in other cases.

I was right. Foreign war justification for the stabbings. Not sure why Germany has anything to do with Israel and Palestine. But they love hurting innocent people for the sins of others.
