Korean Grand Prix 2011, Yeongam Circuit - Race 16/19

Dukes been doing a fantastic job and I think it's time for me to stand down. My work life means I cant do the threads properly as I'm lodging away so often and a tablet isn't the right tool for the job. Working away for the next two races and next year is only going to get worse as we start working in the midlands and east coast. Still got plenty of time to kill on the forums though, so I'm not going anywhere. Hopefully duke will want to carry on his fantastic work.

Hi Acid, no problem at all. I work for myself so can fit it in easily during the day and enjoy it. If things change just let me know. Thanks for getting the template up and doing a good job before :)

Thanks guys.

It's is oddly fun, it got me off my rear and read up on the sport. So much so I've got the full fia rules saved on the tablet. Which increase the knowledge.

I've got printed versions that I've scribbled notes on. Scares people sometimes. ;)

My background in Aerospace Systems Engineering and motorsport helps a bit too.

Thanks for all the brilliant race threads Acid :)

Thanks to Duke for taking over full-time :)

I have to say since joining this forum reading through the race threads really have become an integral part of F1 for me :D

Here we go, Ross Brawn has finally taken a close look at the 2012 regulations... and just like in 2008 with the DDD, he has made a warning announcement again that serious loopholes exist with the new exhaust placement regulations...

:)

This may be what teams like RBR and Ferrari are hinting at when they speak of "aggressive" and "amazing" designs.

leaving mclaren to play catch up again through 2012 :/

Hehee.

Sometimes I think that McLaren enjoy the challenge of playing catchup. They like the idea of being handicapped at the start of the season and then surging forward.

Anyway, next year is a new season, so we just have to hope that RBR don't have the best car again, come Race1.

For some reason I get the feeling that Red Bull are going to be very much at the front in the mix from now on.

Their operation is similar to a Steam Train..

Red Bull is the train, and Coal is their Money.. Shovel Shovel Shovel :p

Surely "money is their coal", or are you suggesting they try to pay their staff with sedimentary rock? Because I'm not sure that will go down to well with CS||nuts
