Lad breaks into a house and is killed...

That Facebook page has some very funny comments on - "wot cums avter deff" - people like that need to go back to school!

The Telegraph article
Seems most informed at the moment, but there's definitely no confirmation/certainty in the public light at present.

Thanks for that, its seems that it wasn’t the owner of the house but a family member of the owner that done the killing I think this is where the problem lies, is it ok to kill to protect some one else property, that I’m not to sure about.

That depends if he still felt threatened. doesn;'t really matter who it was. As long as they know he shouldn't of been there and he felt directly threatened.

Unless of course this family member had this "burglar" around as a guest. stabbed him, then claimed he caught him breaking in.

Oh right, here we go. The taxes argument.

Maybe we should just kill everyone that's in jail already then? Seeing how they don't meet up to your standards, they are undeservering of life (in your view) and cost us money.

It...was....a....joke

Oh dear........................... someone's getting tired :D

Shock news as no-one appreciates concept of "reasonable force"!

Please proceed with your keyboard warrioring about how you'd dismember anyone who set foot inside your house without permission.

Because if he turned to flee then you still can't shoot. you have to feel directly threatened.

They can also tell a lot about trajectory and distance etc.

maybe, but what if he was turning around so he could pull out his gun slightly hidden to give himself an advantage. What if he turned around to call his mate to come and help him.

Turning around does not somehow equate to complete and utter safety., Especially in his case as they had robbed him repeatedly(if its the case I'm thinking of) so he would have still been under the impression they would be back, next time knowing he had a weapon they'd be more likely to come back armed which means he was still protecting himself.

Frankly I'm happy to see anyone commiting a crime behind hurt/killed during it I just don't care.

Literally I don't care in any amount of people willing to commit horrible crimes are removed from our world.

This crap of its only burglary, how the hell do you know that in any given burglary the person isn't either intending to harm someone in the house specifically, or went in the with full intention of hurting anyone that got in his way. The intent is assault or worse. Just because someone "only" took a few items in no way whatsoever means he wasn't intending to do much worse.

Who decides to rob a house and doesn't remotely concider who might be inside or what they might do should someone find them. How many people capable of burglary do you think have that run through their mind and don't decide harming others to protect themselves(protect themselves physically and protect themselves from being caught, as in, a guy says he'll call the police if they don't go, he decides to kill him to stop the police coming rather than just for the sake of killing someone). I would hazard a guess that the majority of people willing to break in our willing to commit an assault to get away also.

Where this idea comes from that theres a bunch of really nice robber's out there who would run away at the mere asking by a homeowner and would never dream of doing anything violent, I don't know, people are just stupid/naive.

You don't have to actually kill someone to be found guilty of attempted murder, in the case of most robberies for me a lack of assault is lucky, the general idea for most robbers is if someone tries to stop you, you stop them. From there, they deserve what they get.

Yo guys Im a knife, you know at the house minding my own ****ing business, until this FAGGOT comes to rob my house. So im like WHAT THE HELL. my owner picks me up and stabs the **** out of the FAGGOT. I sure showed him good!

Now this is the story all about how
Ty's life got stopped, stabbed inside out
And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there
Ill tell you how Ty became stabbed and now is all dead yeah

In west Nottinghamshire born and raised
On the playground where he spent most of his days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And all robbing stuff from houses because it's cool
Legendary guy saw he's up to no good
Started stabbing Tyler in his neighbourhood
He got in one little fight and his mom got sad
And said 'WHY WHY WHY WANT MY BABY BACK'

She whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said fresh and had a dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
Then I thought lol now Tyler's dead not alive yeah!

He pulled up to a house about seven or eight
And thought yeah I'll rob this **** who really cares
Turns out he got owned, really badlly there
He lost the game bad, unlike the prince of bel-air

As part of his info on facebook made me chuckle way too much.

Tbo be honest i feel completely indifferent, he committed a crime and died, means he potentially wont be breaking into my place. Is death a suitable punishment? depends who you ask i suppose, someone he's just burgled, or someone on a forum?? neither one can probably be considered rational.

I doubt very much if i'll ever care about someone who is killed whilst breaking and entering, but i'd feel sympathy for someone who was burgled.

Guess it's good riddance

Some of the comments on the facebook page are pretty funny though, the one from ghost Tyler made me lol.
