Lan noise reducer

It’s a shame that Taylor Swifts audio engineers didn’t use their magic power cables and power filters otherwise they wouldn’t have had this issue.

Most older people can’t hear 15Hz btw which is what makes the whole audiophile debate even more amusing as the people that can afford all the snake oil products tend to be older.

Can you hear this?

Is this some sort of trick question?

I can hear this on both my main Hi-Fi and active monitors in my office, that's with a mild cold at the moment also.

My active monitors are set with -2db roll off of high frequencies so it's less prominent than my Hi-Fi but it's there.

Other people please say you can hear this sound also??

How old are you?

On average, a healthy young person can hear anything from about 20 up to 20,000Hz. As people age, it is the upper part of the frequency range that they lose the ability to hear first.

Whereas a person in their twenties will be able to hear up to 17,000Hz or more, by their thirties this will have declined to about 16,000Hz. By the time an individual is in their 50s, their hearing range will usually have declined to around 12,000Hz.

Not sure you’re making the point you think you’re making here…

I’m all for calling out audiophile Ethernet and USB cables (or videophile HDMI cables) but there’s literally widespread complaints from NON audiophiles about the mastering of that album and the 15kh tone is very audible to me (in their late 30s…)

My point is that they should be using magic cables and plug ins so they shouldn’t have that hum present right?

Also proves that if the master is flawed it doesn’t matter what crap you buy for your system, you’ll only get out what is put in.

I must have super hearing then as I can still hear 19/20khz at 37. ^why would it be at 50hz, when my sub had a hum it was at mains frequency, why does rectifying it double that?

I have a bad enough time turning up the foreign dialogue so I can hear the english subtitles.
