Laurence Fox

Warning - Contains swears:

If it contains swears then why post it?

Seems Twitter users with names like, Gaz the Leg End #leave #alllivesmatter, would like to push the original version to Christmas number one. If I were The Pogues I'd probably donate the proceeds to the wokest charity I could find.

#DefundTheBBC. Hmm. As I said in my previous post. Now his acting career has ended, he's looking for a new revenue stream. I'm guessing that getting the frothers frothing pays well.

Weird thing to complain about. I know some stations were refusing to play it at all last year, but all R1 said was that they were telling the DJs to play the 1992 instead of the original. You know, the version without the swearwords that was recorded 28 years ago...soo yeah, ok? Why anyone is surprised that a radio station that progressively targets younger and younger audiences wouldnt want to play the explicit version of FTONY, i don't know. Fox deserved a twitter slap for even caring tbh.

Don't forget the flags in bio or name, because that's the sign of a TRUE PATRIOT.

Fox is a huge bellwhiff, I have nothing more to add about him.

Perhaps he's just trying to captcher demographics? However, most of his publicised comments are at this level so the trend would suggest otherwise, which is a shame.

After his past few escapades I've formed the opinion shared by some others on here that he's a grade A teet.

Why are those tweets particularly noteworthy? To someone who has actually followed him it is just more of the same really. Is there any reason in particular that you find the points in his tweets worthy of highlighting?

I see that good old Laurence is showing his true colours at last.

Pro Thatcher, anti New Labour, anti lockdown measures and "Corona is just flu bro". Nice.
I seem to recall that Thatcher described Blair as being the inheritor of her mantle so it does seem a wee bit odd that Fox is pro the former and anti the latter. I imagine that he is pro-Trump?

Because last time I said something without feeling the need to provide evidence you banned me from a thread.

Saves time for both of us. I mean Corona just flu is pretty big no?

Also there are many of us that dont follow him and I have to admit I keep getting shocked by views that I personaly think are a bit well, wack is the only word I can think of.

I have a feeling he isnt really pro anything unless he thinks it might get a reaction from it. So you could be right.

Edit: No I cant really see it if Im honest.

I'm seeing a bit of a pattern here in that I find people who I tend to agree with, and are making a stand against lunacy, only to then go completely off the rails and down a rabbit hole full of a different flavour of lunacy.

I quite liked Alistair Williams at first and now he's gone full on nutter. I also quite liked Fox at first but now I'm wondering if someone's put something into his drink.

Yeah Alistair W is a funny one. He seemed to have found God somewhere along the line and kinda feels like he's playing a role to keep donations coming in.
I had to unsubscribe because the headlines were irritating me. I have no clue what's going on there! Shame because he can be a genuinely funny guy. Should have stuck to comedy.

Yeah lost interest myself. Not too sure what to make of the guy now as he just seems to make hyperbolic click bait stuff. Shame is he seems like a nice guy but got sidetracked somewhere along the way. I guess part of it is driven by the comedy circuit having dried up.

Started the thread as I was quite the Laurence Fox fan and wasn't quite sure if others felt the same way as I did.

Well funny how quickly one's opinion of someone can change. Gone from agreeing with everything he says to now thinking he is a bit of an idiot. The tweet's about the Sainsbury's adverts were just him being provocative and his lockdown tweets are cringe and frankly embrassing.
