Discussing things at school (or a on a computer forum for that matter!) as a method of mutual self enlightenment and seeking compromise is a world away from using the media to try to form a backlash against "PC gone mad" though innit?

Should contrary views not be given a media platform then? Sunlight is the best disinfectant and all that. I quite like seeing diversity of thought apart from anything obviously downright nasty of course.

I don't think it's a huge stretch to think pc has gone a bit mad in some respects, it's hardly a fringe opinion. The BBC wouldn't be getting a bit of a kicking otherwise.
