Le Mans 24 hours

There is nothing routine about being pit moved at 200mph into the wall. Audi's have been unlucky with the two accidents today and it's not going to be because of the design. What we can take from their design though is how amazingly strong the cars are.
There is. You've got multiple classes running at hugely different speeds and they clip each other all the time on the faster bits of the circuit.

What seems to be clear from the videos is those two Ferraris failed to see the faster cars on both occasions. First one was McNish being too risky on an overtake, but that second Ferrari definitely did not see Rockenfeller coming through. I'd say the Audi's lights don't look as bright as usual (though the video might have something to do with that) but you'd see him flashing away. Wonder if the Ferraris have too much of an obscured rear view?

Just going on what you can normally see on the darker parts of the circuit, their lights don't seem to have much range on them.

In the video the lights seem to be striking the Ferrari pretty brightly, but of course its difficult to tell when you are watching through a video camera.

LOL at one of the safety cars running out of fuel...

Not that surprising really, it's been out for nearly an hour and is a road car with I guess a standard road car sized fuel tank. :p Unlike the race cars which have very large tanks.

SC is set to be out for another 40 mins.

Apparently it wasn't refueled from the first incident which is a little bit daft.

True, but I would expect it to atleast be on par with normal lights still. Either way they looked massively brighter than the safety car!
