On another note - if you're keen on a HON style replay system then http://www.leaguereplays.com/ is getting there. Basically it sits in your system tray, when a lol game starts it records it and afterwards you can play it back - very tidy. Playback is through the lol client. Doesn't appear to use any significant resource when recording.

This would be cool if only i could get on the server lol :)

Yep re swapping replays you just browse to where it stores the replays (my documents location) - if the person you are sending them to then stores it in his location it shows on his list. Its very seamless as the program just sits there no having to remember to start it. The main downside for me is the lack of rewind (which apparently they are working on). Play and fast forward and scrolling around the map work as well as being able to click on the enemy or allies all work fine

re getting in, i'm just logging it in and then leaving afk - painful but better than deciding to play then having to wait half an hour to get in

Big general changes

Death Timers have been reduced on Summoner's Rift to 12-50 seconds from 28-50 seconds
Melee minion magic resist now increases 1.25 per 3 minutes (up from 0.5)
Ranged minion armor now increases 1.25 per 3 minutes (up from 0.5)
Cannon minion armor and magic resist now increase 3 per 3 minutes (up from 2)
After 20 minutes, cannon minions now spawn every 2 waves (up from every 3 waves)
Cannon minions and super minions now reduce turret damage by 65% (up from 50%)
Fixed a tooltip bug "This unit receive..." with cannon minions and super minions
Minions now deal about 50% more damage to turrets
Turrets deal about 10% less base damage to champions
Turrets now have 20% armor penetration
 
Still getting into this, loving it so far though. Had lots of fun with Veigar the past week, gonnna purchase him to play permenantly. Only level 7, but having fun playin with mates, and its a nice change from wow!
 
Getting really, really frustrated with Riot at this point. Most people i know that play this game are just waiting for dota2 to come along. HoN doesn't have the business infrastructure to carry the product forward but Riot are an absolute mess. If they don't start getting their act together they are going to be losing players in droves.

It might ease up the server congestion mind :D
 
Feel kinda sorry for Riot, the amount of people they will lose to DOTA2 will be huge.

Dont feel sorry for them.If they dont have the infastructure to handle this type of game then they deserve to lose custom.They should have seen the server usage increasing over months and implemented a solution earlier, Rather than wait till it becomes a mess and unstable then decide to look at it.Bad business model if you ask me.Anyways im number 6 in the quee so i may get a game tonight :)

Sight and Vision Wards can now be stacked 5 per slot :D Although they still need there own slot

Spirit Visage increased healing and regeneration effects reduced to 15% from 20% :(
Ghost duration decreased to 10 from 14

To early to tell for sure, different flavour of dota tbh - Hon should be more worried as its almost an identical variant of that...not surprisingly!
 
not too sure about the ghost nerf either, seems a little unnecessary.

happy that ezreal is finally getting a buff, although its not the buff he needs... i will take it :p. its not a drastic change though but it will add a small burst mid-late game.

happy with the urgot fix, will have to see how well urgot does now in lane.. his current state is similar to old school panth (basically near broken)

As you know, we are currently working to overhaul our PvP.net chat service. While this is an ongoing process, we recently completed an upgrade to our chat software that we believe can alleviate some of the problems that you have been experiencing in the short term.

It’s important to remember that this is only a short term fix, and that a true solution to the problem is still coming. Also, while the results of our tests make us optimistic that this be a substantial improvement, there’s no test quite like the real thing.

The maintenance will take place from 06:00 to 08:00 GMT. During this time, the PvP.net service will be online, but chat will be unavailable.

We have a contingency in place to quickly revert the changes in the event that something should go wrong, so please let us know immediately if you believe your service has actually gotten worse in some way. We’ll be watching this post and the rest of the forums like a hawk, so keep us posted!

So far the queuing for the server hasn't been too bad for me, usually i log in and it says im like 2nd in the queue so it takes all of 5 seconds... Unfortunately when i got into a game yesterday i had a ping of 140 (usually about 30) which i did not enjoy.... Despite or maybe because of that i actually had the game of my life and scored a 23-2-9 (or something along those lines) as my new favourite Kennen, spose running in with my aoe going doesn't take much in the way of skill that could be ruined by lag :D

Just a note for those who have been put off by the queues, the latest patch seems to have removed these so no queues. They also released a server side pvp patch and this seems to have resolved (cross fingers) temporarily the issues on the chat side.
 
I didnt realise they buffed the tiamat last patch.I may give it a whirl on ranged units like ashe or twitch .I like the splash damage when farming plus the mana and health regen is always welcome on ashe or twitch :)

They have got some East coast US servers so there are no queueing however you know which server you have gone to as your ping goes over 100.
Not that bad in all fairness
