How have you read through the thread and still arrived at that opinion? But, no, its not. Well, its got levels and items.. Thats about where it ends.
 
I watched them, CLG are still the best team in the competition. Fortunately SK managed to sort themselves out towards the end and outplayed CLG.

The final should be good, but it all depends on the picks, who has a trick up their sleeve and what champions get banned.

CLG may well ban TF since he appears to crucial to the tactics of SK thus far, but this could simply be a ruse. SK really ought to ban MF as she's been an important part of CLG's team in the tournament so far.

As long as Galio/MF/Amumu/Sona/Janna are split relatively evenly between the teams (with two of them being likely bans) then we should be set for a great game.
 
Some really nice mumble games this evening, including a should-have-been-recorded omg a girl conversation and nobody trusting McKnights 'i'm fine' with Sona, even though he is doing awesome. :)

Anyway just a shout out to anybody thinking about it to get on mumbles :)

Agreed, some really good games and banter that made the previous 2 days of dire gaming worthwhile. It has restored my faith in the game and we had a load of fun. 3 great wins.

After you left we had this epic marathon

Early on we really did badly holding the towers. For the last 10 minutes of the game we had no nexus towers but it was always in the balance who was going to win. We just needed one more ace and it would have been ours.

Our teams damage output was just shy of 2 million :)
 
Only a few of us use it, I am always on it when on but I play late 9pm+ if you can set up your trust I can send over the details or add me as a friend in game. Tals or talsworthy.

That was a truely epic match.. Tbh I think if my early game performance had been a bit better, it might of ended up very differently. Still, was good fun.

I just checked my Lolbase, and I've still only played 60 matches. About to ding 30 within the next couple of days, and feel like I have quite a good understanding of the game.. But then seeing people with 400+ wins puts it in to perspective a bit :D

The final two games are up and CLG did ban TF, second game is one sided, third game was great to watch.

I wont spoil it tho :P
 
Spoilers be below then i guess



SK tactics revolved solely around TF which was their massive failing, also letting CLG have amumu every game was pretty dumb. They could have easily picked a different tank with an effective jungler rather than shen. They should be embarrassed at the 2nd and 3rd games, my 5v5 team plays better than that on a regular basis. Shen was way over-eager too often and they didnt push the advantage when they had it.

Repeatedly a couple of their players were caught out by an obvious arrow, especially Janna who failed pretty consistently throughout the game. The 3rd game SK had the stronger lineup in general but still tried to play the flexible game yet pushed in to areas where Amumu is strong at which point the now-mediocre annie could be used to effect. Mid was won pretty convincingly in the 2nd game but they swapped the lanes with left for some reason and promptly lost mid and then the outer lane. All round pretty cringeworthy just because they lost 1 hero to a ban :\

Yeah I wrote that before the final took place though, so I was surprised that they didn't ban him for the first game when it was blatantly obvious that he was a key piece of SK's main strategy.
 
Where can these match videos be found? I'd like to have a watch :)

I see they have brought out yet another champion and he looks interesting but I wish they'd hurry up and bring out a new 5v5 map!
 
Random rotation of buff mobs could shake the metagame up a lil too n make it more interesting, short of new maps~ Though I do agree
 
After a very dire Friday and Sunday i'm currently on a 7 game winning streak with only one game lost in the last 11. It's all going to end in tears :)

Fun games over the last few days though
