Depends how competitive you are, it's not really a game for casual players.

Not sure how true this is. Certainly pre level 20 the game is quite different from above and a lot more relaxed. Team builder also now means you can focus on a role and not worry about some one else playing it.

Where it does get intense is on the ranked side but that's down to what you want to get out of the game

It's free so give it a go, currently it's the most popular pc game by a reasonable margin.

Yeah please stay clear, its not for you.

You need to be skilled at it to do well so pretty certain that even though I don't know you it won't be for you

TBH, probably one of the best games to come out in the last 10 years but in order to be any good you need to put in the time to 'learn' it.

It's a good game, but you do indeed have to put the hours in to achieve much.

Point & click champions are great to learn with, but it's amusing seeing a new player use a 100% skill-shot champion & miss everything

If you don't have the spare time to learn the game I would reaaaaaaaaaaaaally recommend you give it a miss. LoL (like most MOBA's) takes a long time to get good at and the community is rather toxic towards newer players.

The beauty of LOL is you start at level 1 and at that level its a totally different game. At level 30 we forget about this but it is a case of just diving in and doing what you like. The game only starts getting challenging when you get to the late teens imho. Best advice is play whatever character comes your way, don't buy runes till level 20 and don't believe you are carrying a game so its everyone elses fault the team lost and you will be fine

Was wanting to watch the expansion tournament but i'll be busy when its on, but could watch it later. Does anyone else have the same problem as me in that the twitch pause doesnt work?

It pauses the game but when you hit play it goes back to the live stream therefore theres no point to it.

The actual LCS, i watch in youtube for this very reason but the expansion tournament seems to only be on twitch doe to be hosted by esl.

Lol Tune The same people are still playing it. If anything its busier than before.

Mumble server details are on the first page. Couple of groups in there that play regularly. If you are just starting you really need to get to level 20 before joining us proper but their are people still playing this. Just don't post in here anymore

Was a fun tournament. Zyrene and Phreak definitely the best commentator pairing as usual, the other 2 were... inexperienced. They had trouble keeping up with the action when a lot happened at once. There was the one game at top inner where the Alistair engages and they just spluttered everything cos it happened so fast

NA tourny seemed very hard fought by all teams. EU tourny was just a 1-sded stomp the whole way. With all the changes to the line-ups for this season and how out-matched a lot of the challenger teams seemed to be in EU its going to be a very strange season.
