Leeds United Association Football Club Takeover

This is really great news if it goes through, a nice few players to go up with, few young players that will be able to do a job when it comes to the premiership plus a few older heads, great stuff!
 
C'mon guys, it's a pretty obvious rule and a pretty obvious ruling - not to mention insulting to Andy.

The thread is about a particular takeover, not just 'let's discuss club X'. There's a very obvious difference.
 
Gilly can you add it to the FS rules post with some clarification as to what dictates a "club thread"? :)

On topic: a lot of free agents as of today, some very good players in the list, would like to see leeds pick a couple of them up!

Takeover = money = players = free agents are potential targets with said money ;) :p (for wages i mean, before someone attempts to pick me up on "derp free + money = lulwut?")

As we all know Mr Bates didn't like anyone earning anything remotely near what he was, thus we were relegated to spending less on wages than bristol city :x
 
Just looking on the dirty leeds forum and could be the some of the same people involved in the 2004 attempt. Maybe the Bahrain Royal family backing the takeover this time.
 
ITKs going mad today, Arabs at Leeds Bradford, Bahrain royal family involved, all to be taken with a pinch of salt until confirmed!
 
Hopefully we'll get some money to buy some players and get back into the premiership.
Or we could just do what we do every season and get off to a flying start,slow down over the new year and then end up mid table. Again.

Just as we were starting to suspect :( ah well, i'm still quietly confident about this season with the progress the squad has made........fingers crossed we don't get many injurys with so few players though.

Well, it's lacking in quantity definitely, but the quality is certainly better than last season (just a pity we don't have snodgrass in it) not necessarily good enough for promotion mind you but still, i expect a better fight from these guys than i did last seasons bunch.
 
It's a joke, Bates is blatantly the problem, probably wanted to see how much he could squeeze out of the club. He's a complete ****!

I'm not convinced. Snodgrass, Lonergan and Clayton all gone with no quality to replace them - whatever Colin says about Kenny he's not better than Lonergan. He's also much older. We've brought in 3 or 4 players that got relegated from the league we played in last year and will play in this year, indicating that they're not good enough. We've brought in Andy Gray when we might as well have kept Barn Door Billy...

The only good things are the players we've managed to keep. Aidy White is a big coup, if McCormack stays that's a decent one too. They can't do everything though.

Leeds are desperate for the takeover. The leech at the helm needs to go, because he's simply going to carry on bleeding the club until he does.
