Lent

Pancakes, I think I can avoid eating them for a year after the amount I have eaten.

Crepes don't count though.

I was just about to post that. Shocking how many people need a reason / occasion to improve their lifestyles.

It's like the ones that say "but my diet doesn't start till monday" as they tuck into their cheesecake. arghgghghgh

I'm sure I'd feel brilliant if I gave up alcohol but it just isn't going to happen. Might try either giving up pints or giving up takeaways.

I think ill give this up.

Looks like im going to have to survive solely on buy one get one free if you collect on monday wednesday and thursday. It will be a real test of my willpower :(

I just ordered a create your own, extra cheese, smokey sausage, mushrooms and pepperoni and a Hawaiian pizza

OM NOM NOM :)

practically impossible for me to give up anything for lent as my birthday is in april and that's when I want everything.

I've not had a beer in about 6 weeks though and won't be drinking it until my birthday so that's good enough for me.

So what are you giving up for lent. 2009 I gave up alcohol, that was pretty hard, but its all about temptation.

Might do crisps and chocolate. :D

Lent runs from the 9th of March (tomorrow) till the 23rd of April, 46 days.

I'm doing alcohol.

on medication so can't drink for 28days... ;)

so i'm stopping chocolate again. last time i lost a stone and a half. i'm a stone and half lighter than i were then so i'd be anorexic lol....

Nothing, it's like New Year's resolution rubbish... why do something on 'X' day in 'X' days time for 'X' amount of time when you can do it right away. Should be doing something for yourself, to improve your quality of life. Like no drinking or eating crappy foods just for the sake of it because it's Lent... honestly! Proper grinds my gears!
