LFS release today!

Just sailed through my first 12 lessons. Grat fun and well worth doing.
I like the feel of the little cars although the straights are tedious without competition.
I really like the way the game runs though and the feel you get back.
Off online for some door bashing now. :D

Not sure mate, ive never came across one as the original setup that comes with the game is pretty naff.

That is quite interesting... I get 2.07s on AS GT and people say can I can I have your setup.. thing is am using Race S... so they don't beleive me so i give them my set i am using.. and they crash everywhere lol.

So the setup is personal prefference really

Alright just payed for the lisence and am on 23% of the download.
*Looks at the clock*

Tick tock tick tock COME ON! :P

will be buying this on pay day

am new to simulation games as id normally play the liks of toca or gt4.

was playing all morning on some demo servers and was suprised at how good some of the races we had where :)

Just had my first online race. Random server and they were racing the BM's.
Damn they brake quick.
Anyways i finished 3rd. Like i said i am a racer not a hot lapper.

Am loving this game at the moment as it just feels right. I can't explain at the moment but it just feels right.
Loads of people online and all the tracks cars etc help but basically its down to feel and at this early stage i think it feels fantastic.
Very consistant doing 10 laps flat out and not getting one online anomoly.
It's all good so far.

I used the race set up and didn't adjust anything. I will tweak it to get a little more lateral feel as thats what i am lacking at the moment.
The basic set up is there though and more than good enouth. As said earlier it really depends on your driving style on whether it suits. For me a little more traction on exit and more lateral grip and it wil be perfect.

Is there a lobby area for chit chat.

Also any LFS dudes out there want to add me to MSN for some contact then feel free. ;)

Theres a "Meeting Room" button on the in-game server-list screen (at the top right), but I don't think its used that often.

Theres also a "Chatterbox" channel on the lfsworld.net desktop which is much busier :)

Race name is [TSR]Wolf number plate is Malc30. :p I like.
That site rocks Stellios although the world records are  :p

You can download the recorded hotlaps listed on lfsworld.net and watch how that driver achieved his time using the replay feature in your own LFS client.

Goto Lfsworld.net desktop
Open Hotlaps section
Select Car/Track combination
Download a hotlap by clicking on its entry in the laptime column.
Save this .spr file to your lfs\settings folder.
Use the replay option in the clients main menu.

I'm loving these F1 cars, although things can go wrong a bit fast when you're doing 200 mph!! Anyone tried them without traction control  Got mine decked out in full Ferrari livery already :D

That Ferrari livery is probably better looking than BMW Saubers own :D

Not sure what they'd make of their F1 car being driven round in public painted in the liveries of every other competing team though ;)

Right, got it, played the training and had a go in the F1 cars, big crash :)

Will play more tomorrow probably.

SKINS.
Anybody got any good skins then guys or a link to a resource.
An OcUK skin would be perfect.

Stellios i saw your time mate. IMPRESSIVE. ;)

Just found Elk racing.
Got myself the Beano skin pack and the OcUK pack.
Is it Ok to run with the OcUK skins or are they team reserved.
