got a 57 today and am stoked.Raced constantly this morning after waking at 6am.
This game is really superb, so exciting and involving.
Some dude on there today called Phloss was owning all. I watched him do a 53 FFS.
I had two 2nd's and a 3rd then a string of Wall incidents.
The amount of people online is great and races just keep coming.End race vote restart back on grid and away. ***** marvelous.
After racing around in the Ferrai skinned BMW feeling guilty i am taking it upon myself to learn to skin my own cars. I have never been bothered before but i am now. Looking at the way LFS handles it i don't think it'll take much time to learn.
Any tips or links to sites concerning skinning would odviously be appreciated.

You can use the CMX viewer to preview your skins instead of firing up LFS, its available from the www.liveforspeed.net

I use a wheel, Logitech Driving Force Pro. Before this I used a pad, and used to be able to compete online quite well. The thing you don't have with the pad is the ability to left foot brake, although it might work with an Xbox pad with those trigger things.

Arg, I really really want to start playing LFS again, just I've got so much work/revision to do

Am using the viewer but having trouble. I have worked out i have to put skin in the viewers skin folder but i can't seem to save as Jpeg, it stays on pp or whatever its called.
If i can sort the saving in Jpeg prob out i will have a skin by T time.
Control method for me is my MOMO.

In photoshop, choose 'Save for web' and make sure the quality is set to max
Cant help for Paintshop Pro, but its bound to be similar.
Edit: Post the 2048 version for ppl to stick in their skinsx folder and resize to 1024 to upload to LFSWorld.

Cheers dude i am on the verge of creating my first skin and cannot save the damn thing properly. I am so close i can taste it FFS.
Kin thing is proper messing me about. I have it saved in Jpeg and in the skin folder of the viewer i can see the skin but in the viewer i cannot select it.

Have you named it correctly ?
eg. for the XF GTI skins must be XFG_skinname.jpg
You can see the abbreviations by looking at the existing ones.
OK OK OK Everybody laugh at malc30 AGAIN. Ok so i was in the viewer beano and only seeing the default car.
All i had to do was click the type car button and my car appeared.
Jeez what a carry on my life is. Without doubt a brain would make me more than dangerous.

Having to much fun playing this game. Had six 2nd's and 10 3rd's. Should have had my first win twice but was taken out by messas.
Race after race of excellent fun with some great guys and racers. The community side is excellent and the way the game is handled makes it very sociable. Speccing is great, Cars are great, tracks are great, it's all good here.
Anyone thinking of a racer take my advice as after owning and running just about all of them this is definetly the Winner.
