I've ordered 1 from a German company that has a UK Storefront, I paid VAT, So will I need to pay import fee's?
I was reading some of the Trustpilot (etc) comments for that company and it seems some people have been hit with import charges.

If I was going to order from any EU company it'd be Amazon, I think.

Looking at the 32" for myself, think i will wait until it drops in the Uk, fingers crossed OC will have a few in ready to go.

Amazon we’re great. Fast delivery and no issues at all

Can also order from Amazon.de and that works out to be £420 all in. In case anyone gets fed up of waiting for UK retailers.

I'm going to wait till July then sod it, order from the EU.

@Deluxe1 @Death What kind of EU plug does it come with? The diamond-shaped "EU" plug or the round Schuko one?

I’ll check when home , sure it’s round , be careful with Amazon italy at mo too, they have no stock so it’s from other sellers on there at the moment

Just order it from de you won't regret it.

How come?
Just worried about the strain it would put on the socket (a tower-type multi-socket extension) with the extra depth from the adapter adding to the stress on the socket.

Would have been much happier if it was a brick that would lie flat on the desk. Those transformer bricks are pretty damned heavy.

Could buy a 3rd-party power brick I suppose. Solves both problems at once.

The UK version may come with the same style too.
Yeah it most likely will. I just don't want a brick hanging off an adapter hanging off the tower extension :p

It's been a long time since I did GCSE physics but the greater the distance the higher the moment, or something :p
