LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz


Looks like Jay has a found a new monitor for his own personal use (well that is a seal of approval right there chaps). :p

Worth noting...

HDMI 2.0 is limited to 85hz @ 3440x1440
Display Port 1.4 can do the full 144hz @ 3440x1440

I was looking at this as I probably will free up some desk space up by replacing two 1440p panels with just this one panel. Two display ports would have been ideal.
But I can run my server PC at 85hz over HDMI (no biggy) -or- I could look for a display port switch box to flick between PC inputs.

Spend that money on a monitor arm instead and have a secondary screen above the primary if you're low on desk space. Or move to a bigger room :)
 
There is loads of room I have one of those large office corner desks in the corner of my living room.
Nah it's purely a case of do I really need 2 monitors for 2 separate PCs if I get this monitor (answer, no not really).

Hello, I've had really bad luck in trying to order this monitor, got turned down for finance, then when I moved some money around and ordered via Amazon Pay, Amazon then cancelled the order despite confirming with them that I had made the purchase, So I then paid with my debit card which only made my bank think my details had been stolen and had to do a bunch of security checks with them but after all of that I was finally able to make an order :) It wasn't until after I thought i would revisit tftcentral's review and notice the new improvements that have been made to the f model and sadly my order was for the g model. So now I've cancelled the order and am waiting for the refund.

My question is, and maybe i should have just skipped the ramble of a back story? has my bad luck and stupidity cost me getting this monitor for the batch mentioned on the 25th? Are their many pre-order slots for the F model left?

Yes, a couple of dozen or so pre-order slots left. Get yours on quick if you still want one.

As soon as the stock lands they'll disappear.
