The monitor lottery is hit and miss at the best of times.
You must have nerves of steel to import a single unit in from the US as it would have been handled and moved a fair bit during transit.
I don't like the whole 100hz overclockable to 120hz thing (and all the other ultrawide's that are doing the same workaround).
Basically they are running the g-sync module out of spec which in my opinion makes developing a fault over time far more likely.

BTW with that RGB back lighting anyone that's had one beer too many will think they have made it to the dance floor at the local nightclub. :p

Nvidia need to update their Gsync module, or possibly them opening up freesync support is the first sign that they are giving up on Gsync. Really no reason at all to get the Gsync version now.
gsync is still better than freesync, freesync has more overshoot when the refresh rate / fps is varying.

another thing is freesync doesnt use g sync with it and its not made for that. And if you use gsync you must have v sync enabled in the driver to have it work properly.
watch this ;) https://youtu.be/MzHxhjcE0eQ?t=735

the frame pacing and inputlag is still lower with g sync if you get you target 120 fps.

but for the money and the latancy fix i probally would buy the F model too now i paid 1230 euro for my gsync model in november. and the F had 10ms more inputlag back than and you couldend have geussed back than they would fix that with a firmware and that nvidia would open up to freesync.

This isn't the first monitor to overclock this model G-Sync module, so this is not new territory. Maybe @Baddass or @PCM2 can comment on general failure rates of overclocked monitors?
