LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

I'm surprised how quickly the prices have increased on both these models. Last November they launched at £989 for the F model and £1099 for the G model. Since then, the pound is now much stronger against the USD and the Euro, however, prices of both models have increased, with the F model now 16% more expensive than 4 months ago.

Supply is non existent.

Got my F model this afternoon and set it up immediately. This thing is absolutely stunning in every way, no dead pixels, colours all uniform across the screen and very very minimal bleed on the corners.

I had a go of CS:GO and whether it was the increased refresh rate or just a placebo effect i was on top form pulling all sorts of crazy headshots and performing much better! Gonna give Battlefield 5 a go next and see how it is coupled with my RTX 2080ti :)

£1100 on a monitor, no don't live with it.

unfortunately ... you have 2 options
1) live with it
2) pay for return and get partial refund from the shop

I'm saying that as if you saw my previus post i has the same problem ( couple of dead pixels , fixed most - which i regret now ) ...

OC will not replace my monitor ,on warranty or just by a being fair to customer , they just want money ( look price raise) :)
From another hand ,,,, LG neither ,,,, just google for PDF or https://www.lg.com/ca_en/products/documents/LG LCD Monitor Pixel Policy.pdf

for this kind of resolution you need to have over 12 dead pixels to they replace it ...
To be honest , IF i buy next monitor online.. i be sure to i get 0 dead pixels warranty.

For now i suggest to even you so keen get this monitor - which is brilliant if you win "panel lotery" , hold you horses and wait for better options - read better warranty :D

As even to quality of image, and all of stuff is brilliant , customer support AND quality of product is very bad. With this price tag .... i have been expect more . From my point of view the Quality Control LG department should be fired ... they just suxx .

p.s.
OC UK got like 60x version F ,so far i count 6 with problems again for a monitor with 1k+ price 10 % ish is very bad rate ... is not acceptable.

After my previus experience with OCUK i did not buy anything here by over 2 years ( pre-ordered 1080 Ti FE and they just sold first ones in shop instead of send to ... pre-order customers) . And for my complain about dead pixels i got answer to 1 pixel is not enough to i get replacement ... lession lerned cu in 10 years ? :D

1 left in stock, yay to not getting a replacement any time soon. I guess I'll just ask for my money back and just be happy with my current ultra wide . Sigh

Edit: I could by swayed if they want to give me a G instead, but I doubt that would happen.

Life is good today chaps, I have a keeper!

Looks like I got lucky in the panel lottery draw.

I unboxed and handled the panel with extreme care, slid it out slowly face down, attached the stand, gently stood it up, then lifted it into position by grabbing the back of the stand only (I didn't touch the sides/trims at any time).

There is the smallest amount of light bleed on the LHS.
But I really don't notice it unless I'm specifically looking for it.
No dead/stuck pixels.

Time to fire up Sniper Elite 4 and get some longer distance head shots in.

The camera on my phone isn't the best.

Monitors in that range are not 144Hz native or Nano IPS with wide colour gamut so not quite the "same". Wide colour gamut monitors in any range generally carry a higher price tag and well worth it for those that desire it.

You have to say, they are overpriced. The F does look good though, but yes, overpriced, especially as it is supposed to be FREEsync..

Seems to be a lot of issues with quality control as well TBH, but if you get a good one, they look very nice yes.

Maybe a few dead pixels do pass quality control. Same with the bleed, it all depends on what LG considers acceptable.

Not so much the dead pixels, but quite a lot of outright broken screens eg. lines down screen etc. But maybe this just looks worse as obviously people with problems are more likely to post, but still seems like more than average.

I think these should have replaced the X34P etc. at their price point, but yes in PC components these days, they do not really do that anymore, if something is better it will simply make a new bracket! I shudder to think what it will be like in 10 years lol.

Mine came today. Doesn't seem to be any dead pixels and I can't see any backlight bleed issues. Only thing is it seems sluggish in games to me. I was intending to upgrade my graphics card soon but maybe I have to do it now. It's a GTX 970. I checked nvidia and it uses display port 1.2. Could this be the cause?
