LG c9 OLED

Those flattening the box to keep it - I don't understand. Does this mean you're not keeping the ploystyrene? And if so, what's the point in keeping the box?
I've folded the box to get it in the loft and then taken up the polystyrene afterwards to stack beside it. If I need to pack up the tv for resale or moving it will take 5 mins to reconstruct it all

Going to be getting a C9 next month and I'm wondering are the speakers good enough?

The reason I ask is I live in a terrace house i dont want the neighbours getting upset with me. Maybe a soundbar or are speakers a better option?

Thanks.

End of terrace here. I use a Sonos Beam and 2 x One's so can't comment on the TV audio itself but if you already have any Sonos kit in the house it's a walk in the park to add to it. Certainly good enough for us anyway, though I am not an audiophile!

The speakers are pretty good for tv speakers. Perfectly fine if you don’t want to splash out. Obviously a dedicated audio device will be better but they are not that bad tbh...

I've disabled eq, and reduced bass down. Still awful. Playing back independence day bluray and speakers in TV parping away its laughably bad.

Don't care when I have big floorstanders with seperates and high end sub.

Fair enough just most people seem happy with the tv sound and have not mentioned distortion. As tv’s go i think it’s pretty good. I use my soundbar as it’s connected by E-ARC so just works on it’s own.

Getting an error on my C9 when trying to access internet enabled apps on the TV (Disney+ etc) that the 'network is unstable'. I get the option to try again which generally doesn't work, or to close the app.

TV is connected via ethernet, going into a powerline connector to my office and an Amplifi router. Connecting via Wifi instead works fine with no issues, albeit not great throughput (hence the use of powerline).

Sky box and PS3 are connected through the same powerline adaptor (3 ethernet ports on it) and working as before. Have swapped the powerline connectors and same issue. Looking at the settings on the TV its reporting its connected. Its listed as a connected device on the Amplifi router as well.

It worked for the first 2 weeks without problem. Can't think of anything that has changed.

Any thoughts?
