LG OLED 2023 Thread - A3, B3, C3, G3

My Friend has a 65” G3, I have a 65” C3 we both agree we cannot tell the difference.
Interesting......I'd imagine the C3 will be perfectly fine, but have read above people say the G3 is noticeably different.
Guess it's down to individual opinions/sight.

I wouldn't have a G3 next to a C3 if I bought one, so wouldn't know anyway.

The 65" G3 for £1570?!?

You mean C3?
No, I meant G3. Taken off a different forum (not mine):

Some people just can’t see differences, you get people who can’t tell the difference between 30 fps and 60 fps, people who can’t tell the difference between oled and lcd.

The G3 goes far brighter in HDR if you know what you’re looking for with higher colour volume for certain colours.

Tried quite a few HDR sources and both felt there was really not a big noticeable difference as claimed. So much so my friend has returned his G3 and got a C3 and is more than happy.

Wowzers, that was scary! Just changing inputs on the TV and it went haywire! Lots of bright flashing lines. Had to wait 2-3 minutes for the “click” shutdown noise but luckily it came back to normal.

Just ordered a new TV….guess it’s time for the Projector and Screen to go…

Currently rocking a decade old 50” Panasonic Plasma with a Projector and Screen for movies….

LG OLED evo G3 77 inch 4K Smart TV

Grand Total
£2,978.42

Got a tip off with a voucher code that gave 20% off…didn’t think it was legit…and got a server error at checkout…

Very little stock about…so been actively keeping an eye on the LG site….kept my nerve and BOOM £744 discount worked…now says no stock again…finger crossed it ships! The server was being rammed….guess I might be one of the lucky ones…

C3 77 inch with voucher was £2792.98 so figured I’d pay the £186 for the G3 with the MLA Panel.

I went from a Panasonic ST50B to a LG OLED C9 which was a massive improvement, then to a LG OLED G3 which again was a nice upgrade, going from your plasma to a 77" G3 will be huge, 4K HDR content is immense.

Cheers…the projector screen is going and I’m glad I cut the i wall speakers allowing for an upgrade…

Hoping for a good deal on the C3 42" this black friday but the price has been stubbornly high compared to the C2 last year. Seen the Panasonic TX-42MZ800B for £699 but was a price glitch and now back to £799, not sure how that compares to the C3 anyway.

I know the 42 inch doesn't get as bright as the larger screens but anyone got theirs in a room with a lot of sunlight? Not the best time to ask as we head into winter but the bedroom does a get a lot of sun. Not directly on the screen but just a bright room
