LG OLED55B7V price hikes everywhere??

Ok those of you that have the tv, is it straight on its stand? I’ve tried reattaching my stand, and have even been into Richer Sounds and swapped the stand for another one but the tv is still leaning backwards quite a few degrees! Is it the design??

Silly question I now..... But have you taken the rubber feet at the end of the stand? I originally had them on when I put the tv up and it was definitely tilting with them on. Took the feet off and it was fine.

If you mean the large grey rubber feet it was packaged in then yes they’ve been removed. It’s just the two piece stand screwed together and attached to the TV.

It's straight on mine. Can whatever it is resting on take the weight?

Yup it’s a large thick tv cabinet which had no issues holding a 55inch plasma which weighed a lot more then the OLED!

I’ve also checked the level of the cabinet and it is perfect. It’s the tv or stand that seems to be leaning. I’m just surprised that swapping the stand out and it still leans! I’ll get a photo and post shortly.

ok so it’s fairly hard to get a picture showing the lean. It looks like it’s leaning more in person then the pics!

I can't really remember if mine was leaning or not (it's back in the box now until I move) but I do know that if you go looking for issues then you'll find them!

Ask RS to replace the TV if you're within 14 days. I'm sure they will!

Dont think you can turn it off.
Not sure why you would want too anyway? it only comes on if you've been afk (non tv) and is a measure to prevent any kind of image retention.
Saves power also.

I emailed LG and they have said that the TV is designed to lean back a little. I’m going to send them some pics to confirm if what I have is normal. Here is two more pics with a level to show it:
