I'm actually more excited about this that the upcoming batch of 28" 4K monitors! Especially now it's been confirmed that the initial batch will all be 30Mhz at 4K.

I'll be keeping a close eye on this to see what kind of reviews it gets and what kind of money it's selling for when it's released.

I reckon selling my U2412M and U2713HM I could get a combined sum of around £500-600?

Then that means just add another 500 for the 34" assuming it rrps at around £1k

I hope it does...

I think you mean hz not Mhz :p but I agree, the new 28" monitors appear to have a very reasonable price.

PS Did you mean the 28" ones were restricted to 30hz, or these Ultrawide ones we're discussing?

I'd want (expect) at least 60hz for any monitor to be useable for long periods (and gaming)!
