"Says viewers i meant owners"

Just wondering what you think of it ? i see mixed reviews some say the camera is good some say its bad, same with the touch screen thinking of getting one of these so input welcome.

I've got one, replaced my SE P990, very happy with it, no problems so far, gets good use, excellent battery life, 3g+ rocks, touchscreen is fine to use, camera is fine.

That's about it really.

I've had mine about 3 months. Very dubious at first as I was a Nokia fanboy.
Got on with it great though and find texting fast with the keyboard, it always took me ages with a normal keypad.

I had the samsung g800 for a few days but that was pretty basic really so sent it back just waiting for them to recieve it before getting a new one, looked at loads of reviews of the viewty and like the look and touch screen has me interested, i normally have se and looked at the k850i but that seems to be getting crap reviews everywhere, think ill go with the viewty thanks :)

Before anyone says the N95 black or N82 i will be getting this as a free upgrade which aint possible on those 2 phones, and i won't pay for one.

thats me had my viewty for months, camera is great, touchscreen is okay most of the time, bit fidly in some bits, texting is fine. web browsing is good, I really need to get a memory card for it 100mb internal is rubbish but even with a memory card the 300 text limit is still there grrr

I been looking at the vids on youtube of the viewty with 120fps slow motion recordings and i have to say it looks amazing, if anyone interested you only have to put lg viewty in and you will see them.

Sure it looks good but its a gimmick, when will you ever use it really? Not sure if anyone has had both a Viewty and an N95 8gb. Personally I would miss physical buttons, and on a side by side basis the N95 8gb's camera beats the Viewty, however the camera is pretty decent I think.

The N85 8gb can't be had for the price of a viewy why is it always compared to it when its not even in the same price bracket gets me, you can say the same for a camera on a phone its a gimmick, not used like 50 times a day just on occasions but people still use them as the video feature they will on the viewty.

I thought they were in the same price bracket sorry. You cant possibly put a slow mo fucntion on a phone on a par as a camera on a phone! A camera certainly isnt a gimmick on a phone now, perhaps a few years back with 1mp cameras I would have agreed with you.

I currently have a K810I and that has a fantastic camera on which is pretty close to the 5mp ones, but i can't say its had a huge amount of use i want a good camera but i also like the sound of a touchscreen phone.

For reference the N85 8 gig is free on a online 45 contract for 18 months on the O2 site where as the viewty is free on a online 35 contract same time frame, the nokia phone is £99 extra on the same tariff as the viewty.

Got the Viewty about a month ago, very happy with it. Touchscreen is easy to use and the camera is very good.

Battery life could be better, but then whats new when it comes to mobile devices. You will only see poor battery life if you use the camera often but thats to be expected imo, as well as having the large screen.

It's light for a phone it's size and feels sturdy. The qwerty keyboard for texting is very useful and it has all the standard features you'd find on a phone.

I was thinking of getting this phone. But after looking on Youtube I soon changed my mind. The tuch screen looked pretty crap. In one of the videos I saw the guy had to press the screen around about 10 times to get it to go on the application or page he wanted, the screen wasnt picking it up. Stuff that.

i found mine very good. i've recently sold it though. as i tend to damage the screen with keys etc in my pocket. so just getting a cheap crap phone for a while lol

Had mine about amonth now,, and im very very happy with it, possibly the best Mobile I have had, but the year will tell in terms of lastability.

Texting is a dream with the Qwerty input, also the whole screen is better quality/ responsive than i would have imagined, i was expecting it to be slow and sluggish, but it is very very responsize, just takes alittle while to get used to.

Well for what i can get free its either this phone or something like a K850I, reports of that dont' fill me with confidence, so think its this.

Took the plunge on the viewty got it on a £20 contract for free so don't think thats too bad, i have one question though will it take a 4gb memory card or is it just 2 ?
