He was probably taking issue with your form because you were lifting heavy, as a way of justifying his own ineptitude. Haters, errrrrrvrywhere.
 
I was just being silly. That's probably what he was thinking. Or like Icecold was saying "well I don't want to do it that way anyway" because he can't.
 
Wasn't feeling it tonight on the deadlifts, probably due to a hectic past couple days. Still managed a decent single at the end.

Deadlift
80x7, 140x3, 170x3, 200x2, 220x1, 140x8

Seated Cable Row - 1.5 second pinch/hold at top
72.5x6 x3, 25x10

Wide Pull Ups
8,8,7

TRX Inverted Rows
10, 10, 10, 10

DB Reverse Flyes
7x10, 7x12, 7x12

Leg stretches.

Not too long. It depends on whether your seeing improvements to your paused benching. If you have done, move on. If you haven't, stick with it. You could always do reps of non-paused in the same session.
 
I think I'm not far off 150 for a pause, but as you said my pause wasn't that long :p
I'm comfortable with 145 pause. So I'd like to build up my strength a bit more so was thinking of doing some 140 triples.
