LiE's Diet and Training Thread

Yeah it seems like it was all just conditioning so you would have been fine at the higher weights it would have just been less fun. Oh well, still impressive numbers :).

Hammys still have some DOMS from RDL on Monday, hopefully it won't affect my deads tomorrow.

Increased my sweet potato to 420g a day from 200g :)

I have a feeling deadlifts will be tough tonight. Conditions aren't ideal.

Really pleased with my deadlifts tonight!
Strict chins were so hard after doing seated rows and trx rows, but it felt amazing.

In cycle 4 (April/May) of my last visit to 531 I did 182.5x7, so I've smashed that.

Syla5 has a video of my + set which I'll post up later when he sends it to me.

Thanks!

So in the video we can see I'm still missing some flexibility in my shoulders, but it has been improving and is something I'm working on. Last rep was a bit iffy. Beast face was revealed!

Nice work mate :) I'm wondering whether to put military press in to my workout soon to help with my shoulders or not...

Regarding your deads the other week with the warm up...I'm presuming you went straight in at 80+kg? :)

Squats tonight and my conditioning is starting to improve. It's not quite back to previous 531 levels but it's not far off now.

531 Squat
WU - 67.5x5, 85x5, 102.5x3
WS - 120x3, 137.5x3, 155x9

Leg Press

250x10 x4

RDL
60x8, 90x10, 110x8, 120x5

Wanted to see how my DOH grip would do with heavier RDL and at 120 it wasn't playing ball. I'll keep up the heavy RDL for a while to get the DOH/grip on track.

I don't actually need to improve my DOH grip, my mixed grip has no issues. It's just something I can add into the training at no cost.
