Deficit BSS are the true test of manliness. So much so that I can't do them at the moment. (angry face).

They're actually my favourite lift behind the two Olympic ones, because they're just so beastly.

Im feeling it today from the normal BSS. Although I'd have to buy myself another platform if I want to attempt the deficit ones.

then why try and counter my point about them actually having quite an impact on the off leg with a comparison to bicep curls? you, of all people, should know how tasking they are :rolleyes:

I love split squats more though :( In a weird freakish way.

There's also a high chance of falling over which adds to the fun.

Heh, that's a standard occurrence for me if I do them!

Tried some unweighted last night...

My balance is poooooor. Great fun though wobbling around all over the place xD

Also need to find something around the house that is a better height for my rear leg, current choice is causing twinges in my back.

Single leg squats are almost as bad from a balance perspective.

Probably the only exercise I know that's easier with weight than without...

Training went well tonight.

Pause Bench
60x5
80x3
100x3
120x1
140x3 - PB :D 3rd rep wasn't too slow either.

Normal Bench
100x5
110x5
120x5
130x5 - 5th rep was slow but went up fine.

Dips
BWx8
+20x6
+40x6
+50x6

20 minutes of bands/soft tissue/stretching pecs and shoulders.
