Lila Connect - VX Fibre 1gig - Stoke on Trent

From what I see on Facebook, people are waiting a few months after ordering for it to be installed but that's to be expected when it's a city wide rollout.

Lila installed in the street here at Meir over 2yrs ago but I still can't order. Anyone have any info if Lila are having issues?
Just fell out of contract with TalkTalk which has now gone up from £26 to £40/m for 18ping / 40mbits even though line can do 65mbits.
Will an Asus rt-AX86u work with Lila? As this router won't work with Sky.

[Edit]
Update email from Lila:
We can confirm that we have not yet completed the build in this area. Unfortunately, we do not currently have the permits planned in for the works here but please rest assured we will be looking to complete the installation of our full fibre service at your post code.

Installed here, Boothen, sometime back in October and was told by one the guys then that I could place an order by December. Not true. I've been in contact with them and they keep pushing the dates back even further. To date I'm still not able to place an order and their website says...

...despite the fact that they are obviously building in my area as they had the bloody street dug up and I have the little box thing sat against the front wall of the house.

Maybe August 2022 then. Which would be 3yrs after they installed the cables in my street
Rather than sign up for another year or 18m I'll carry on paying £40/m for 40mbits -the lowest TalkTalk are contracted to supply

I wonder what the logic on this is. Could it be they get government finance towards installing the street cables, even if connecting the back end is years away? It makes no sense to install on the street, but then take years to finish connecting people.

They are installing the cables in my stree now was hoping have it installed when my bt contract ends in June

Doesn't look likely now looking at the posts on here

3 weeks ago Lila Connect installed fiber in my road, not connected the back end mind, but just the pavement cables.

Then this week Openreach are installing their optical cables in the same road.

Wait years for FTTP then 2 separate FTTP solutions installed the same month .

Virgin are also upgrading their network in Stoke to be full FTTP currently. You will notice new smaller cabinets have started to pop up near existing virgin cabs.
