Lineups in 2012/2013

Well with the latest signing of Anita I hope we line up like this (if everyone fit):

Krul

Simpson - Taylor - Colo - Santon

Cabaye - Tiote - Anita

Ben Arfa - Cisse - Ba

He played 1 game in a spurs shirt and hasnt been seen since.

It's apparently a done deal and he will be a spurs player but they cant annoucne anything as they to agree a fee at a tribunal as he is a youth player and a product of the Utd academy so they are entitled to a fee even though he will be a free agent.

As it stands, I'd play:

I imagine we'll sign a new RB and either Hulk/Cavani/Moses as well.

------------De Gea------------
Rafael---Vidic---Ferdinand---Evra
------------Carrick------------
------------Kagawa----------
Valencia----Rooney----Young/nani
-------------RVP-------------

I hope its that, Carrick playing as a CDM, Maybe even jones, kagawa playing as a CM with a bit of freedom, to make the 5 in attack, i didnt like how he played as a CM in some of our pre season friendlies, when he played as a CM it wasted his attacking flair, when he played behind rooney in a CF/CAM role with freedom, he was pretty tasty.

Hasn't Malouda gone?

lol at the Hulk/Cavani/Moses comment as well, one of those stands out like a sore thumb :p

--------------Friedel
Walker - Kaboul - Dawson - BAE
---------Sandro - THudd
--Lennon ---- VDV ----- Bale
---------------Defoe

Dawson will start as AVB has said he will "start" as captain.

Cudicini, Caulker, Vertonghan, Sigurdsson, Livermore, Kane, GDS, Rose

Dont know what the bench will be, Knowing my luck Jenas will be on it.......kill me now.

i am rubbish at selecting teams but i am thinking utd will be like this

------- De Gea------

valencia-- rio-- vidic-- evra

cleverly-- carrick-- nani

---- Kagawa----

--Rooney-- RVP---

You think we'll play Valencia regularly at right back?

Rafael might as well be sold if that's the case, pointless hanging around if 2 central defenders and a winger are played above you.

I'd go for 4-2-3-1 for UTD now that RVP is here.

----------De Gea---------
--Raf - Vidic - Rio - Evra--
-------Carrick - Clev------
Valancia - Rooney - Kagawa
------------RVP-----------

I think we'll be set up a bit like that too, depending on the opposition.

Kagawa/Nani and Valencia will essentially be fighting for two spots, though I suspect we could see a bit of a 4-4-2 system with Kagawa and Carrick in the middle (that would work well versus weaker sides).
