Liquid Art: From Mini P180 to infinity...

This Parvum case looks sweet! How much did all the watercooling equipment cost you? I've never done any before but this is making me want to so bad.

I think with all the money spent on watercooling stuff I could have bought another system or server lol.

It's ridiculous amounts but if you want something to look decent you have to pay the premiums. Totally worth it though!

If you are to start I would go with a cpu loop first to get the hang of looping your system and how it all routes together. You may want to use bay reservoirs over tube reservoirs. I have used both and personally I prefer the tube method if you have the space for it in your case.

Thanks for the advice, I think I'll try out one of those H series on my current PC then build up from there, and I agree the tube method does seem a lot nicer.

Absolutely Superb build, actually this is one of my all time favourites, quality components and a spot on colour scheme. One thing that does draw attemtion to itself is the OCZ SSD, is there a way you could either hide that away or make a cover for it somehow, maybe cover it in vinal or something as the green kinda spoils the overall look of the build. Apart from that tho 10/10, I love it :D

Hey,

That looks fantastic - contemplating moving to one of these cases myself, from a 800D!

Just one question - you have a board below the GPU, is that a soundcard? This is the only thing holding me back currently!

I have a 7970 @ soundcard, so need to be able to fit both in, I presume I can go for either dual gpu or gpu + soundcard looking at the space?

Awesome build, im considering a Parvum case aswell now. Im just wondering what do you do about a cd/dvd drive? do you just not bother with one? Thanks - Adam

Loving all the pictures of this build! I'd love to have a go at water cooling myself but don't have a suitable case or the funds for it so I'll have to make do with my Corsair H80i for now :( great job with yours though! I'm a huge fan of water cooled builds and yours is one of the tidiest I've seen

pleeeeease update this!! :D

I have some questions as I am considering a very similar build!

1. Why did you choose to use two 120mm rads instead of a single 240mm for the front? Which enermax fans are those?

2. On the top on the top 120mm rad, where does the tubing go? It seems to disappear! Does it go up to the top rad on the right side of it?

3. Is your pump in the out of sight area?

4. Which rads are those?

5. Which pump are you using?

Would be VERY grateful if you could provide some answers :p

Thanks! I'm loving this build by the way :)

He used to have a p180 and in that he had to have 2 120mm rads up front.

Looks like it goes around the back panel to the 240mm rad

Its directly under the res by the look of it.

4. Which rads are those?
They are ek rads, I think.

5. Which pump are you using?
I think he is using a DDC

Jay has an external optical drive I believe.

With the MVG you can do crossfire and a soundcard but it is better to be watercooled as you will have issues with aircooling on this board with dual gpus, also the second gpu will need to be a single slot to allow a sound card to fit so this limits you to either an amd card as most amd cards can be single slot with a waterblock (7990 included) or a low end nvidia which would make sli pointless anyway. tldr: yes dual gpu is possible with a sound card if the second gpu is single slot or you have a dual gpu card (690, 7990 etc)
