Well played Blackpool. Deserved the win although we looked better than we have done of late. Passed it around quite nicely at times but the attacking players lacked confidence on the ball which'll hopefully improve over the coming weeks.

Suppose this was Woy's fault / Rafa's fault / Webb's fault?

Full credit to Blackpool, They're doing really well so far this season.

Suppose you could turn a team playing relgation form into a decent team inside 4 days.

Surprised the King played Poulsen, then again Meireles was actually just as bad.

Torres got two good chances, one was converted, other just over. Rest was feeding off scraps, but he actually tracked back at times, maybe got a kick up the arse.

Nice to see the club being more unified with Carra/Babel/Gerrard all in the stands though.

Think into february we shall see if the King has been out of the game too long, or maybe we lpool fans were wrong and it was the players and Woys longball tactics are actually good.

nah, it's Liverpool. Liverpool are a fantastic club and have an amazing history, I don't imagine you'd have *too* many problems bringing in a few players. It's just getting the money together and getting the right players.

We need some creativity to play, atleast if they give the ball away they will be attempting something decent.

Wouldn't mind Suso and pachecho getting time.

Blackpool outplayed us easy - it was a walk in the park for them honestly - only lucas gave a **** and thats been the case all season- he was defending and managed to be the only midfielder at some stages of the match - the rest if the midfield should be docked their wages cos they are useless. i could honestly put in a better performance its that bad!!

Please sell that useless POS martin SCROTAL i have never seen a player as crap as him in my life - yet he plays all the time, kyriagkos is miles better than him.

This is a relegation battle plain and simple now and i actually see us struggling to get out of it - there is no hunger in the team whatsoever and with the matches we have coming up with teams around us we are going to lose more than we will win.

Wholesale changes needed at the club

Reina - MOM by a mile
Johnson - waste of 17million
Skirtle - *** off
Agger - so so
Kelly - decent prospect
Poulsen - should not be allowed to play for Liverpool again!
Jovo - should not be allowed to play for Liverpool again!
Kuyt - lost the plot and should be sold
Mireles - had a **** game - needs to pull his finger out
Torres - Started brilliantly but didn't get the service as we reverted to HOOF tactics
Lucas - our best outfield player tonight

I totally applaud Blackpool, deserved to beat us and are a breath of fresh air in the premiership...love watching them play

There's only one man who can possibly stand up and do the job when a messiah with the initials KK has failed you.

Step forward Alan Shearer.

aye....right.....

4 days to change a team from relegation fodder to top 4....not even Kenny can do that, give him time...he has a **** squad to choose from though

They were playing some great stuff indeed - charlie adams pass to the corner near the end was pin-point & awesome -goes to show what confidence does for a player

Dalglish does not have any magic wand and it was unrealistic to think that he would just become manager and we would suddenly turn into his team from 87-88.

Dalglish like Kev put played what he would have considered his best team with 2 Internationals in the form of Poulsen and Jovanovic replacing Gerrard and Maxi.

The tactics were to have Jovanovic and Kuyt supporting Torres as much as possible with Merieles further forward and Lucas due to the insurance of Poulsen able to get forward a lot more.

We started off very well but then as soon as they scored the confidence just left us and from then all they just reverted back to type and went long ball.

You could see the gameplan but for some unknown reason the players either were not able to or just didn't want to follow it.

There is not a hope in hell that Dalglish was telling to play the long ball so im presuming that they just went back to what they know best and just hoof it.

There was not the power and intensity we had against Man United and like its been posted a lot of the players out there should never play for Liverpool again.

Why are we so ****, well personally speaking i would be looking at the former owners and Benitez who both either allowed in the owners case quality players to leave without giving the funds to replace them with like for like quality and in Rafa's case when he was given money he spent it on ****e.

Hodgson is not without blame as the £20m he was given in the summer was looking like it has been wasted plus the defensive 'hoof' it tactics are going to be hard to drill out of the players.

One thing i dont think KK got right was the subs far too late in the game should have been done around 60-65th min mark.

The changes he made weren't the best anyway. Maxi needed to come on for one of Kuyt, Meireles or Jovanovic. We were getting the ball in between their back 4 and midfield but wasted it time and time again.

I know you'd prefer not to change your defence during the game but we needed to switch Johnson and Kelly too. Johnson wasn't comfortable at all getting forward on the left hand side and kept having to turn back in side and play the ball infield. On the other hand Kelly was getting lots of the ball in decent positions in their half but his delivery wasn't good enough.
