Knees are going crazy tonight, 2 days to remove hoofball and bring in new tactics.

Although the squad isn't as bad as drunkenmister puts it, it isn't great.

New lb, cb, cm, rm,lm, one good striker and a decent backup(youth maybe? What united have is pretty good)

Nah, its just the "cool" thing to do, make up a "funny" version of a club or player name. The forum is littered with it, it shows you're one of the hip trendy cool guys. You get bonus points in cool if you manage to use lol in the name somewhere or make a player name a mix of his name and a negative attribute, such as Fernancy Torres.

Nope, just a Man Utd fan. :p

I'm not hip or trendy!

You sound bitter. I'm only in here to point and laugh. :) (I actually really rate Torres if it makes you feel better)

Nah I'm not bitter, simply explaining it as it is. Namecalling and finger pointing are just part and parcel of football. If you like its very similar to a playground, its just that the participants are older. :)

It was quite a good reaction header, ball came to him pretty fast and he nutted it almost point blank into the net , it came so fast and was close enough to the goalline that there wasn't much any keeper could have done about it.

Yeah I caught the replay at the end, I fell asleep around 50 mins and woke up at 83. The first half before Blackpool scored Liverpool actually looked good and actually thought they were back on the up, unfortunately regular service resumed.

Valid point.

My hatred for 'pool stems back as far as I can remember, even back in primary school playgrounds, surrounded by 'pool fans. :) I will not hesitate to kick them when they're down.

Does anyone know what was wrong with fabio aurelio was or is he injured again ?? because glen johnson at left back is suicidal or anywhere in the back four . We really need to move him up to the right wing

Decent result for Liverpool tonight, it's always difficult playing a team in the top half of the league... :p

Lol :p

I'm not going to stick the boot in as I know how it felt with the Toon. I'm just not surprised Dalglish isn't having the effect you hoped. You looked a little better but despite how much you polish **** it's ultimately still ****.

You needed someone more in touch who can do something with the players rather than relying on a man (who most of the useless foreigners there probably don't even know) to get trash to play good football.

You will stay up, but only because there is worse teams rather than your team being too good.

Honest question here, if you lose next 4-5-6 on thebounce would you start calling for Dalglish out?

Well, again saying we are polishing **** is a knee-jerk after two games.
Wouldn't chant for daglish out, he would know when to step-down if things clearly are not working out. Took some people to Christmas to realise how bad hodgson is.

Lol :p

Surely you are contradicting yourself there though?

On the one hand, you are saying that no matter how much you polish **** its still ****. Thereby indicating that its not Dalglish, its the **** players and no matter who is in charge the **** players will mess things up.

Then on the other hand you are saying that we need someone more in touch, thereby indicating that in fact the manager does make a difference and can make the **** players play good football, which goes entirely against the idea that no matter how much you polish **** its still ****. I'm also 100% certain that every single foreign player at Liverpool knows who Kenny Dalglish is.

As I've said numerous times, I never expected Dalglish to be a messiah, I never expected him to come in and us go on a winning streak and shoot up the table. What I expected was for Dalglish to come in, us to get a perk of unity from that and for Dalglish to have us playing a better passing and better attacking style. All of that has happened, the results havent gone our way in the 2 matches so far, but to be fair the defeat to Utd was hardly the fault of the team or the manager and even in that defeat we actually did comparatively well. Blackpool did great last night, though they have proven this year that they arent always the pushovers that people thought they might be. However we really should have kicked on from the lead and held it for a win.

Even if Dalglish lost the next games on the bounce I wouldnt ask for his resignation, for 2 reasons. Firstly he has us playing better already and that can only improve, and secondly...as I have mentioned time and time again, he is caretaker manager, not manager. There is no need for me to ask for his resignation because he is effectiely only there until the permanent appointment is made anyway. I give caretaker managers leeway as I believe they are performing a different role, with different expectations to those of a full manager.

come on - at least be sensible and put some of the blame where it belongs (on Gerrard's shoulders for such a stupid /reckless tackle)

He isnt fully responsibe by any means, but it was certainly a winnable match with him on the field for the full 90 (given how close you got to scoring a few times after the 32 minute mark)
