Living in University Halls

I'm going to Lancaster, but just discovered that my first choice of college is ensuite only and that I didn't put that I wanted an ensuite room, so I guess I'm either going to my second choice or getting forced to have an ensuite room :o

Your own loo is a god sent, late night crap, hang over and when you have a girl over. Worth the extra money IMO.

I think they just don't like fridges as it would be on 24/7 drawing electricity constantly.
Thats what i thought but my pcs gonna be doing that anyway lol and id say a fridge of this size would use less electric than my pc as it only draws power when it needs to cool which is maybe one 10min period every half an hour, ah well il live. Got all my pots n pans n things today so its startin to get serious now :D

no problem, my mate had a HUGE hifi. One even had a bass tube from his old car, the thing shaked the building literally, no kidding. I was in the next room to him.

I haven't either, and neither have a few of my friends. According to my uni's website they get sent out "late August", so I'm expecting one any time now.

Conditional students who have applied for university accommodation by the deadline of 30th June 2006

If you applied for University accommodation before the closing dates you do not need to do anything as the University automatically receives your exam results. Once your offer becomes Unconditional (i.e. you have the required results to be accepted on the course) you will receive a contract through the post by the end of August.

You will be able to check online from Monday 21st August by viewing your online accommodation application to check when your contract has been sent.
