just checked the website

Conditional students who have applied for university accommodation by the deadline of 30th June 2006

If you applied for University accommodation before the closing dates you do not need to do anything as the University automatically receives your exam results. Once your offer becomes Unconditional (i.e. you have the required results to be accepted on the course) you will receive a contract through the post by the end of August.

You will be able to check online from Monday 21st August by viewing your online accommodation application to check when your contract has been sent.

hmmm well just check it tomorrow, but obviously if you feel your waiting too long just give them a bell

ahh.. i dunno

i applied for accom pretty early so i got a place about 1/2weeks ago. just had to fill out a few forms and send them back, now im awaiting confirmation. i paid my deposit too

I applied really early too, it's just Lancaster being slow.

I've not sent a deposit or anything though :/ Just the regular application. Eek.

I'm going to be studying Physics at Bristol university, I will be staying in Manor Hall. Self catered and 10 minutes walk from the uni, as opposed to the 40 minute walk from stoke bishop.

Glad I got it.

Awesome, manor hall is a fantastic location. I'll be around a 5 minute walk from where you are, the other side of the union. :)

I'm going to Lancaster, but just discovered that my first choice of college is ensuite only and that I didn't put that I wanted an ensuite room, so I guess I'm either going to my second choice or getting forced to have an ensuite room :o

What sort of a post is that! Oh no, your own bog not made to stink by other people.....terrible fate.

A little tip for people that want to take fridges into their rooms, one of my mates last year had diabetes and he was allowed a fridge in his room for his ’medication’ ;)

Mintage, this all sounds ace.

Anyone else going to Newcastle?

Someone who's bored, please write me out a shopping list of stuff to take with me? As in stuff I wouldn't think off, like.....bog roll....and.....you know... other carp. :)

And any reason why taking my guitar would be a bad idea?
