Moving into our house on the 3rd of September. Really looking forward to it, the three people I'm living with are awesome, should be a lot of fun.

Proof that students these days have more money :p

Averaging throughout the whole of the 3 terms, my weekly spend was about £100, not including rent (£116 a week). It boiled down to living in london, expensive foods, travel, going out, shopping (a lot went on this).

Speaking of my room, it was a shoebox but I loved it:D

Didn't they tell you what grade you got at end of the year??

With us they told us what grade we had based on out points we had gained etc etc, I got PPP myself and ive just got to wait for General Studies which i know ive got an E because I didnt go to any of the A Level exams for it :p

What course did you do? i did a National Diploma in ICT and did like no work for 2 years untill the last 3 months and got DDM! such a badly taught course, i didn't really learn anything. Most of my assignments were filled with wikypedia crap :D

I got a Husky 50L from Lidl the other week for £50. It's a shame it isn't one of the newer ones, but for £50, I'm not going to do much complaining :D.

think i need something with a bit more in the way of getting people hammered :)

nah, i need a new one.

yup, self brought Fridges are usually not allowed. However, some uni accommodation department have proper ones for rent. Mine had them for £50 for the year, actual fridges with a small freezer compartment, about 500mm high and wide.

You could hide the fridge you have when they do the room check, which is usually a couple weeks into first term. Just move it to your car or something, or put it in the cupboard for the day. Then when they are gone, bring it out.
