On the strength of some of the stories on here, I emailed Logitech about my failing G5, and 48 hours after my first email, I've got myself a discount code for 50% off anything in their shop...

Damn tempted to get the "G Series Bundle" of the G19 keyboard, G9x mouse and G13 gamepad for £112.50!!

Have to convince the other half that this is a good idea... lol

Anywhoo... Yes, to those who wonder: Logitech Customer Service really IS amazing!!

absolutly love logitech they have looked after me many times in the past with broken kit. The best customer service out there bar none :)

Not sure whether you or I got the better deal here, my G5 was failing a while back, emailed them and they sent my a brand new G500, completely for free, no proof at all required for the G5 apart for the serial number.

But 50% off at their shop...

Does the code cover your entire order or just one item?

i got this after a e-mailed them saying my g-15 had some paint fading near the wasd key's and i also got a 50% off anything on there website and got a new keyboard from them.

I'd recommend those to anybody!

I've got a QuickCam Pro 4000 that I bought over ten years ago here that still works just as well as the day I bought it! (albiet the quality isn't as top-notch as it used to be lol)

But nice to know that when it does die, I'll get some help from their customer support department!

Incidentally, the code is only valid for single items - so I can't get that bundle for £112 :( lol

Could get a G19 for £75 though ;) ...too much choice...so little money :( lol

Their service is excellent, I had a faulty G5 but even though it was out of warranty they opted to send me a G500 replacement free of charge. Still going strong a year on!

I wonder what they will be willing to do about the high pitched whine coming from my MX518. Can only hear it when music is off and there's no background noise at all but it is noticeable. I wish all component manufacturers would follow Logitech's example.
