Yes i got convicted because i was young and I didn't know about any of this black law's. I was 20 and never been in trouble before, the next thing i know im being charged for firearms offences which carries a mandatory 5 years imprisonment, blank firing guns are legally sold in the UK, the ones i had brought were different in how they vented the gases which was the issue. I was sentenced to 3 years but i won my case at the court of appeal. Nottingham was rife with gun crime at the time so they tried making an example out of me.

What are you talking about Glaucus, car tax is still known as road tax to this day, if you don't have car tax and your car is on the road you risk getting a fine or your car towed.

If you don't have anything constructive to say on the subjects i'm raising then don't post

Just to save anyone wasting time, are you planning to provide any backup or proof of your claims or are we going down the usual path of videos on YouTube and demands that everyone else disprove your nonsense rather than you prove it?

It's not car tax, and it hasn't been car tax for decades. It's vehicle excise duty. What it's "known as" doesn't really matter.

But of course, if that happened now, you would simply state that the act does not apply to you as you do not consent to it, and thus you are able to have section 5 firearms if you so wish? Correct?
 
Well as long as you don't go shooting people you'll be fine, all these policies and law is quite complex you must see their is some valid points that's raised, if you watch the video I posted it might help clear up some stuff and answer some of your questions if your finding it hard to understand

Just don't pay it then. As far as I can see Income tax is defined under the Income Tax Act, and VED under the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act (<30 second Google, I might be wrong there). Just don't give them your name, and say you don't stand under them when they try and do anything about it. Simple :)

No, I'm not finding it hard to understand, it's just simply a load of rubbish, with no documented case of the freeman argument ever working in court.

the freeman argument has been tested many times in courts around the world and every time they fail - thats because they are wrong and have no basis in law.

you can watch as many videos as you want but the world simply doesn't work like they state.

I just noticed that my Voter registration form has Business post on it.

I never before realised that the elections were really a business, it explains it all....


On a slightly more sane note, I suspect that the reason various forms want you to fill parts of them in, in block capitols is simple.
It's often far easier to read block capitols than it is to read cursive, and for important documents you really want to try and minimise the chances of errors, especially if they may be need to remain legible decades later (and in modern times a lot of the forms may be scanned and read by OCR, at least initially).

OK I don't entirely like the government either and the way they lie about everything, their ridiculous ideas, Iain Duncan Smith, etc., but damn this thread has reached an unprecedented level of insanity.
 
Well i haven't checked this thread in ages... last time i did it was about TV licensing.

I come back... blank firing pistols, corporate law and electoral role registrations....WTF

On Topic. had about a dozen threat letters from the TV police and ignored all of them. Dont own a TV and cant be arsed to respond to them. I hope they're screwing about the unused sky dish on the house
