London Bridge Incident

We have May saying its time to say "enough is enough" The tangerine nightmare tweeting "its time to get down to business" Neither of them though have the slightest clue what to do, so out come the soundbites again. I expect some civilians somewhere in the middle east will probably get bombed in the next few weeks because its all they can think to do.

Theresa May saying 'We must....' 'We will..... ' and telling us everything we want to hear. The politicians will do nothing whilst all the 3000 extremist Muslims still walk our streets. Wish the politicians would just DO something...

Tough times call for tough measures

I think we are going to learn the hard way why countries like Egypt (a predominantly Muslim country) have at times stamped out extremist Islamic fundamentalists and those violently - those people can't be reasoned with, they are not our friends, despise our way of life and laugh at us when we try to deal with them softly.

And to be very clear I'm not talking about all Muslims here.

She ended the statement saying enough is enough, It should have started with that and it should have been followed by a list of intentions designed to allow the security services greater freedoms, Ways to find Hatemongers and the footsoldiers along with the ability to grab and immediately deport immigrants they find participating at hate demonstrations. These people should be put on the first available military transport back to there country of origin and dropped on their side of the border. No due process, just an immediate removal. We need to get tough, no more pussy footing around.

Indeed you make a point rroff, turkey used to do it on occasion, now they support them.
Egypt, iraq, lybia all did this, in fact, the vast majority of more secular muslim nations had little periods where they wiped the, out.
Indoneisa under the first two presidents used to dump them in farmers rice fields, when found they were swiftly reburied.
It didnt get rid of the extremist it just buried that generation for a while.

I doubt anyone will serious suggest our society should start arbitrarily executing citizens without trial.
If so perhaps they should be the first to be shot.

How long before some twit with a Corbyn mindset pops up to tell everyone that it was caused by the perpetrators merely having low blood sugar through not eating all day for a week - and that as such the police were being culturally insensitive and racist in shooting them to stop them running rampant...?!

I'm sure this has already been posted but even the thought of terror attacks is too deeply ingrained in the public mind now:

Turin stampede: '1,500 injured' at Juventus screening

Perhaps some positive "propaganda" is needed to try and take the edge off rather than the constant barrage of threat through the media as we seem to be doing half of the terrorists job ourselves.

I doubt that anybody on this forum would disagree that fundamentalists who want to use terror as a weapon and see the taking of innocent lives as a means to end need to but put down - the only issue is how do you do it. These people do not going down the street waving placards that highlight the risk they pose to society, the challenge in taking the fight to them is identifying them in the first place.

The widespread persecution of the Muslim community that is being suggested by some posters here is something I simply do not think will work. It will create more unrest, more impressionable individuals with nothing to lose would simply be given a reason to hate this country.

I'm not smart enough to know what the answer is, but there are so many pitfalls with the idea of internment that they should be obvious to anybody who has thought it through. I'm not a lefty, or an apologist, anybody who was involved in the horrific events that have taken place in the last fortnight need to be dealt by whatever means appropriate, but that should not and cannot include the persecution of those with no involvement.

We'll we've already had some nonsense idea on here that 'wealth inequality' is to blame...

You will never get the media to not be bloodthirsty and speculative voluntarily, and I'm a bit uneasy with trying to gag them.

Where it does emerge though little is done due to political reasons, etc.

It's incredibly rich to come out with "enough is enough" when it's been your job for six years.

Whilst selling billions of £££'s worth of arms to rogue state supporting governments because its good for the economy and allows tax breaks to their buddies.

So completely stop immigration into the UK? You have any idea the consequences of that?

Apart from like North Korea I doubt there is another country which doesn't have immigration.

look at Japan, modern first world democratic country with very little immigration. even the small amounts of non ethnically Japanese residents are overwhelmingly for nearby countries with not massively different cultures like Korea.

I'm afraid you have bought into the cultural Marxist propaganda that what counties need (especially the racist, colonialist, western nations) is regular large influxes of largely poorly educated people from cultures that are both alien and antagonistic to western liberal democracy.

Japan doesn't need large scale immigration and neither does the uk.

Sure like most western countries they have demographic problems but the solution to this is not to engage in some sort of cultural suicide ponzi scheme

Well at least if they are covered in Rouge they will be easy to identify, I think it's a cunning plan! :D:D:D;)
