So most muslims(so you say) didn't mind that Khan had dealings with convicted terrorist Yasser al-Siri and hate preacher Abu Qatada.
Says it all really.
 
Perhaps some of us don't think people are born evil/wicked and that not everything is black & white!
Of course the civilians of these violent criminal attacks are the biggest victims, however a young 20 year old who has been brainwashed and manipulated into thinking strapping a bomb to his body and committing suicide in a crowd of people is a good idea is ALSO a victim. Another victim of religious extremism imho :mad:

"Whatever" why so bitter? Most yes, some yes, it's the symptom of the illness. Many Christians are not going because churches are not strict enough and I'd go further and say even unchristian. Try and find an Orthodox priest that would marry an Orthodox to an Anglican, a very difficult task, as they view Anglicans in an unfavourable light.
 
People in the UK don't go to church anymore because more and more people are becoming atheists:

You don't "become" a atheist, you are one by default. Religious belief is programmed through parenting and through religious indoctrination.

Ask most people about stuff in religion and they'll say it's rubbish and made up, western people have woken up to the fact what religion is about. Fear and control.

Million upon millions of Christians in America say otherwise!

Roughly 40% of Americans are Christian extremists and think the planet is only a few thousand years old!!

I remember as a young kid questioning what I was being told about religion from a very young age, I would have a science lesson and be shown all these facts supported by evidence and it just made sense to me, then I would have an RE lesson and straight away think to myself 'hang on a second....' to me I always knew it was all made up I can't even comprehend how people don't see this. Kids fair enough but adults? It pretty amazing this its still a thing and I'll never understand it.

Yet separately throughout the ages all around the world people have invented gods/religions for themselves sometimes on a big scale and pushed onto populations sometimes a much more private and personal thing. IMO people aren't born cognitively an atheist and neither is religious belief exclusively something programmed through parenting or indoctrination as you would like to believe.

That's because they hope something is after they die, or give life meaning, or because other people do it they follow suit.

If you went to that isolated tribe in the middle of the ocean, you'll probably find they have their own unique religion, and recently they probably thought a helicopter is a messenger from their god(s)
 
I think millions of years of evolution has clearly proven to us that you are a product of your environment.
If we can alter the environment of these young Muslims that are being radicalised occupy then maybe we can prevent future death and destruction ?!?!

Only way to achieve that is basically take them from their parents at birth and isolate them from any element of their family heritage.

Yup, these terrorists are following scripture that is written in the Quran, how can that change? It cant.

The same types of god fearing hate text is in the Old Testament in the bible, the difference between Christianity and Islam is that the majority of Christianity has moved somewhat with the times.

Islam has not.
