where did you get that baretta? how much and does it fire those shells (load bb into the shell then shell into the clip?)

The brasses are for the 8mm Magnum he has (one bb per brass).

The two Barettas there are Western Arms and would set you back around £130 from a UK retailer.

The TM ones are cheaper and lighter... WA are nice but pricey.

TM and KSC are catching them up though.

Yea but can you not kill someone with theses toys??

No.

A really close hit on bear skin will result in welts or possibly broken skin.

At worst it looks like a bug bite.

Safety glasses have to worn to protect the eyes.

Some people wear full face masks because they want to stay pretty or are shy.

So often the hits are so light you hear then rather than feel them

At close to mid range the sting like a really hard flick...

So NOT firearms are there is no explosive power
The ARE legally toys.

The Berreta in the centre is a KSC Elite version, gas powered, and the Beretta top right is a Kimar blank firer that fires the shells you can see in the picture.

The magnum is here...

Just pointing it at people is enough to make them duck for cover usually ;)

Anyone know any good places to order some airsoft guns from? Is it 16 or 17 you have to be to buy them?

There are three UK retailers listed in this thread.

Most of the UK retailers operate an 18 or over for the person purchasing the toy. This is also mentioned in the thread. ;)

A credit card is usually enough to prove that you are 18 or over.

There are no legal limits but the retailers without discussion amongst themselves adopted this age to try to show the general public that they are being responsible and not selling what are models of real guns to children.

Point anything like that at me, loaded or not and I won't be the one who suffers. I don't care if it's a BB gun, but you don't point them at me

Golden rule - Never point a gun at anything you're not prepared to shoot.

Would an MP5 RAS be a good choice?

I suggest you go to a local site first and ask to try some of the other players guns, well worth it as you don't want to be dissapointed with your choice.

So whats the build quality like on these things, are they nice heavy construction or a bit plasticky?

It depends which model you go for.

AK47s for example are just as durable as the real ones (well ok maybe not THAT good).

My M4 is all metal apart from the front foregrip, which I'm going to try and replace with metal once its working.

It's heavy too, about 3.5KG unloaded.

That's nice! That's very nice mate! I am no weapon's expert but this looks like the real thing! Nice man nice, so does it shoot like a soft bbgun or like a co2 airgun?
