Assuming he's still alive in 35 years, would he actually be let out? It's not going to be safe to let him out. I've skimmed some of the summary and it's incomprehensible. It's not safe to let someone who did that out. His mind is wrong and there's no fixing that.

so since its in the news again this week and on tv.... why did the train robbers get aslong as this guy ? probably served longer than he will serve too !

I read the document and its pretty disturbing to be honest. After reading it the mothers should have got longer as well.

Please, Most of the general public have no idea what happens behind the prison walls. Your rose tinted spec's don't stretch that far.

Yes I am aware of people talking but people like Watlins won't be "gen pop" as you call it, or "protective custody". He will be placed on a Vulnerable Prisoners unit alongside other sex offenders. He will get minimal staff contact aside from people opening his door and supervising the serving of the meals.

Due to who he is he will have many alerts in his name. Staff will be aware who he is and what he has done, and will be watched very carefully around him.

It sounds nice in the holywood films, but in reality it doesn't happen.

Nobody in prison likes sex offenders.
